Just noticed this on my perusing for Wii games, seems a bargain for a game that is rated above average. On the website states RRP is £24.99 but the cheapest i have seen this on other sites is £27.99+ (TGrav doing it for £27.65 with a RRP of £34.99, Play is doing it for £29.99, Blah for £32.99 ...) so maybe a mis-price?

Ratings for the game range from about 7 to 8 (out of 10) - so not bad for a Wii game these days.

Here's some info on the game ...

In his latest episode, Crash is on a quest spanning exotic islands in search for his ultimate nemesis, Nina and Neo Cortex, who have wreaked havoc by using their powers to mutate creatures and mastermind a nefarious plot of destruction. Crash, with his daredevil persona, coupled with a completely intuitive and original acrobatic combat style lends himself to fast and satisfying fighting. Crash of the Titans gives unprecedented power and control to kids. Crash Jack to take the enemy's abilities and use them against each other. The bigger the foe the bigger the opportunity!

Only found 1 official review so-far about this game ...

Gaming magazine Nintendo Power criticized the game for its "fixed and unforgiving" camera, which they felt made the platforming experience "frustrating".

This review was for the Wii version. But from the various blogs on the Wii version it seems the game itself is quite good but let down by the camera angles/issues.

May be worth finding another review or waiting?

My 5 year old (a huge Crash Bandicoot fan) played a demo on the PS2 a few weeks ago & loved it.

I thought the camera angles were a bit weird at times... you are often viewing from behind objects & just seeing Crash's shadow cast onto the floor.

Wouldn't want to pay £39.99 for it... but for £17.99 it's worth the risk.

Also available for the same price for the PS2 at DVD.co.uk, btw, but £16.99 at PowerPlayDirect.

PS. More reviews at GameRankings.com - it gets 65%.

In my "Summary of Recent Outstanding orders" under "My Account" it is still shown as £17.99.

Where did you see the amended price to be charged to your card?

Yes, I saw the price increase a few days ago (when it was posted in a comment previously).

My outstanding orders page reads...

And then two more items I bought at the same time that have already been "shipped" (on 5 October, mind!).

The web site for VirginMegastores says it is out already (at £21.00), but I still haven't received my copy from DVD.co.uk.

Mind you, a PSP title that was despatched 9 days ago has just arrived from GAME!?!
