Iceland has been offering £ 1 for 2 l milk for quite a long period. So, not a hot deal for me.

This is Pure filtered and saves you money. For example I had to buy a 1 litre bottle from the Spar shop on Saturday Night for 90p. I had to throw a 1/4 of it away this morning as it had gone off. If my Morrisons were open I'd have got Cravendale which will last me until saturday:thumbsup:

Why does milk need tampering with.....just another way of inflating the price.

Dont forget, it's so good the cow's want it back.

Everytime this quality milk is posted as a deal you can guarantee a moron will post something like "Iceland has been offering £ 1 for 2 l milk for quite a long period" or "it's just a marketing ploy" These people seriously shouldn't vote, personally I would ban them for not understanding the site.
This is a good deal basically because the supermarkets usually fix the price at £1.69 each and rip off CO-OP £1.99. Qualitiy milk that has a very long expiry meaning you can buy more with this deal and it also has less bacteria re silly unclepotters post. VERY tasty.

To the numpties, if someone posts a deal for a specific brand then think like for like and if it is a good deal RE PRICE! - forget your personal preferance to shop in Iceland,Netto, Lidl e.t.c.

p.s. Obviously HEAT added.

Lol, it's not 'tampered' with. It's filtered further than 'standard' milk to kill more Bacteria which means it stays fresh longer.

The cows are happier as they know their milk will be drinkable longer, so less waste. :)

While agree to some extent, I'm not sure calling other users 'morons' and 'numpties' is in the best spirit of the site either.

I think we should all have a nice, chilled glass of the white stuff this morning. One of life's simple pleasures!

I can tell the difference.

Everyone who comes mine for a cuppa says how nice their brew is too and can't understand if they use the same tea bag manufacturer that it tastes better. I personally believe its the milk and suggest they try it. Just my opinion

The Iceland deal is even better than mentioned above. Unlike Poundland and other deals it is actually 4 pints = 2.272 litres - so over 10% more.

Lovely milk! Thumbs up because I like Cravendale.

Tesco had the £1 offer recently, so not quite as good... but not bad. ;)

LOL @ U. Your post just shows that you are an even bigger MORON! The deal has nothing to do with me so you are just (partially) ruining a good deal for other posters. That just shows what a moron you are, because I have obviously already seen the deal.
#22
love the arguments on here, whatever passes the time ..... voted hot, great deal, cravendale is great stuff, lasts ages and saves throwing out milk!
#23
That documentary on BBC about dairies put me off - milk has pus in it according to her that used to be with Paul McCartney.

Well, I need the protein, so that's just a bonus.

Farmfoods for me, One or Semi-skilled, none of this modern stuff- 2L for £1. No nonsense.

Let the flaming commence.

Hot, anyway, bud!:p

Its over at my local....but that means nothing as the larger store in huddersfield tend to have offers longer.

Back on offer at mine...well it was 2 for £2.50 last night which surprised me as there was no promotion card up.
