Cravendale milk 2 x 2l for £2.50 at Tesco

The Cravendale 2 litre milk is 2 for £2.50 from tomorrow until 18/5 in Tesco.
Normally about 3 weeks shelf like on this milk.

great deal. good if you dont drink alot of milk as these stay fresh for a week rather than 3 days.

we love this milk and i think 8 pints lasts us about a week and a half and there is 4 in my family

thanks for the heads up on this.

I don't use much milk, but happy to buy two and freeze one of them ('whole' milk' is particularly good for this), I just keep a close eye/nose on the one from the freezer but regularly get 2+ weeks from it once it's transferred to the fridge.

thats a good price. i dont really like this brand, a bot watery for for me!not so bothered about the date thing as on bottle of the biggest milk last 2 days in my house, only 4 of us here lol.good price non the less

ive always wondered why the shelf life on cravendale is so long? they say its "pure" but how does this last 3 weeks when normal milk is 7-10 days

Cravendale user multiple filtration process to take all the nasty bacteria usually found in "normal" milk making it less likely to go sour. They probably use younger cows as well, who knows!

It's filtered so that it contains "almost no bacteria" - which is the cause of milk souring.

take your pick from fat, skinny and thin

throw one away and still spend less money !!!!

Wow, that is a good price for somewhere like Morrisons, but i'll be heading to Tescos for mine as it's nearer :)

This is definately the best price at the moment, it's on deal at Waitrose but no where near as good as Tescos and Morrisons.
