2 for £2.60 in Tescos

2 for £2.50 in Sainsburys. Seems to me a milk war going on!

Sorry op just saw that you already mentioned Sainsbos!

1L of semi skimmed is 43p in Aldi, makes this Cravendale very expensive, we get through loads of milk having 2 kids.

You can't compare the two, it's like comparing a ferrari with a rover 25.

We get through loads of milk and the kids dont mind the normal stuff so thats what we get, milk tastes the same in tea and coffee, why spend more when you dont have to

I'd understand the analogy with graphics cards or something but for milk I think that's going a bit far. I don't dispute there is a difference between them but I don't know if it's as great as is being made out, never having tried Cravendale nor the Aldi brand milk.

What's so special about it (other than it keeps somewhat longer)?

If you are a milk drinker it does taste very nice to be fair but its very expensive

This is in between semi skimmed (3% fat) and skimmed (0.1% fat )

It's been like this for ages now, I keep waiting for it to drop back down.

It's saved me a small fortune over the last few months, as I'm sure it has with other people who buy milk in fairly large quantities.

A proper 4 pints as well - none of this 2 litres nonsense.

Got some in sainsburys today 2 for £2.50, but had 2 x 50p off coupons so £1.50 for 2 bottles.

Tastes better than standard milk.
#14
got the 2 for £2.50 at sains and managed to use 2 vouchers I got through post so got an extra 80p off it's nice stuff but not as cheap as sainsburys 1% can't beat £1 for 4 pints

This milk suits my family ideally as it actually works out cheaper for us as there are only the 2 of us and I usually have to throw some ordinary milk out as it goes off before we have used it all.
Have been buying the Tesco Pure @ 2 for £2.60 which is just the same as cravendale.

I've tried Tesco's Pure and I don't think it is as good as Cravendale, also it doesn't keep as long before it goes off.
#17
You can also buy 6 for £7. Although this milk is expensive it tastes so much nicer and I have never thrown any of it away. I'm not voting hot because asda have been doing this deal for a couple of weeks now and any anyone who shops at asda would be aware of it.

You're probably right, I don't drink milk, only have it in drinks/cooking so can't comment on the taste, son has it on cereal though and manages fine with it.

I find it does last a week though once opened.

how can i get this deal, i havent got an ADSA near me, il just have to got and get milk from tecso
#20
If you buy more than two, every additional one only costs an extra £1 (e.g. 4 for £5, 5 for £6, etc.)
#21
It tastes great!

I can drink a glass of Cravendale whole milk and enjoy it but with regular whole milk I just puke cos regualr is crap!
#22
Cravendale whole milk is sooooooooo much better than regular milk. It's worth every penny. I can't go back to using ordinary milk now, yuck!

You would have to have a serious lack of taste buds not to notice any difference between Cravendale and regular milk. Not being a tea drinker, I'd guess the differences may be lost there but for drinking or using on most cereals it's simply the best.
#23
Don't want to sound SOUR, but I posted this a while ago http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/368372/cravendale-milk-3-for-4-or-2-for-3-/?p=4772274#post4772274 (Good job I like my milk cold!)

Should maybe have unexpired that one?

What a load of ********!

I'd love to be able to do some blind taste tests for the people saying it tastes better. I have bought it a few times and the convenience of it lasting longer is certainly a big plus for people who don't use a lot of milk, but there is virtually little difference in taste. To say 'regular' milk is crap is just plain stupid.
