FINELY FILTERED. Pasteurised, homogenised, semi-skimmed, fresh filtered milk. STAYS FRESH FOR 7 DAYS*. *Purer and fresher for longer. What makes Cravendale taste so pure and fresh? We don't just pasteurised our milk, we also use ceramic filters to remove even more of the bacteria that turns milk sour. This keeps our milk deliciously pure and fresh for twice as long as standard fresh milk without the need for additives or preservatives. It's that simple.

May Apply to other's such as semi-skimmed & whole,

Have just returned to the store for something else and Semi-Skimmed is at the same price £1.00 from £1.68

£1.68 in mine, I just bought it. Your title should say semi skimmed not skimmed.
#3
the bottle's i brought were skimmed which is correct for the title
#4
do i need to put the link for the receipt in the image link on the op,as i have seen other people manage to add a photo of the receipt as opposed to a link,

Thanks

Why don't they just admit its homogeneised milk. No more, no less. All milk is pasteurised (except at farm gate etc), and all milk is filltered. And Cravendale tastes slightly different to pasturised. Not as nice, in my view.

You can get REAL semiskimmed / full cream for a pound at Poundland - every day. No slick advertising slogans, just fresh milk.

Nicer taste, and keeps for 1-2 weeks longer than normal milk.

I would much rather pay £1.60 for 4 pints of cravendale than £1.40 for 4 pints of normal milk which will go out of date a lot sooner.

Is this milk actually that much nicer than "normal" milk?

I've never tried it before..
#10
It's marked as reduce to clear in my local Asda for semi skimmed, I've bought one, I only have milk in tea & tastes like any other milk to me
#11
Normal price in my local store today (Bromborough)
#12
thanks for the receipt pic, i simply just would have never believed it otherwise...
#13

I can tell no difference, but only use it in tea or on my corn flakes.

Seems to last forever though, so works out cheaper in the long run for me.

Enjoy your poundland milk. I'm sure it's lovely. Cravendale tastes different, I'd happily do the "Pepsi challenge" with that stuff any day of the week, and in my opinion it tastes far better. Comments like these are a bit stupid, it's like going into a thread about Coke deals and saying "Tesco Value Cola is cheaper".

Slightly off-topic but: why are Asda receipts so horrible? Most of them dedicated to product codes that only the hardiest Asda employee would understand.
#17
thanks ~ i love cravendale milk has a cleaner, colder taste ~ if that makes sense :)
#18
wow!.....
#19
I think what you have is Cravendale that's on the display until date. I bought some the other day it had 2 dates on it one of them said display until and one of them said use by and that was reduced to 75p.

The bottle's I brought had use by 25th June,I would not post something that was going out of date and waste people's time.

Yes I know what you mean as that's exactly whay my OH says about it! I don't like milk so I can't comment but I'm hoping this offer is in my store as we go through loads of milk - at least 6 pints a day - so this would be good for stocking up.
#22
hot thanks
#23
Hopefully itson offer in my local Asda, this is the only milk I buy. Sick of other milk going off before its date, so stick to the nicer tasting, admittedly more expensive, but then is it if yiur chucking the cheaper stuff away!

Thanks OP for spotting the offer.
