This is a brilliant price. I'd certainly buy one if I had not won one from a computer magazine.

Would like to use a wireless keyboard and mouse when viewing the PC output on my 50 inch plasma whilst sitting on the couch (about 14 feet away....yes my eyes are good,lol)......anyone know the wireless range on these at all ?

I'm in Liverpool too Pred.

Many thanks in advance.

If the range is anything like my cheap £4.99 set i got from amazon just before xmas, then the range is excellent. Works at the bottom of the garden (and its pretty dam long), with the computer upstairs...obviously i couldnt see anything from there (lol) but i was just testing it out. :giggle:

Good reviews and have gone for 2 for free delivery. Thanks OP
Hope it works with Vista and should blend in nicely with the Dell 520 deal with 22" monitor

How good are these I've had a couple of others (more expensive) and the issue has always been drop out.
Typing away only to find rubbish on the screen, or the mouse jittering across the screen.

Based on recent experiences with Amazon, if these actually turn up I'll eat my Trilby.

I have a similar Creative wireless keyboard. Works fine, except battery life is very poor. Mouse battery only lasts about 1-2 weeks.
#10
I've got a microsoft wireless keyboard and mouse on my work computer - it's about a year between battery changes - so might save you a few bob over time.
#11
I got the MS wireless one (£9.79 ebuyer deal about 2 weeks ago) for my other PC at home. Hopefully the battery will last a bit longer in this one.
#12
Can I buy a wireless keyboard and mouse that doesn't use batteries like AA or AAA?
#13
Not sure about the keyboard, but I have seen cordless mice that come with a re-chargeable docking station.

I've got a Typhoon one from Amazon on my lap now. Never dropped out. Think it was less than this one, about a fiver? Eats batteries though.

Yer thats the one i got, wish i had got more at that price. Only using the keyboard part as i had a nice wireless mouse before.

Im still running on my original 2 provided, so im very impressed with the battery life (and i do use it a lot everyday). Having just said that im pretty sure the batterys will run out tonight! :giggle:
