They can be bought cheaper from a marketplace seller but if you're worried about fakes then order from Amazon (or Indigofish)

My EP-630s finally gave out after 4 years of harsh punishment so I'm guessing the 830s will be just as good!

Creative EP-830 In-ear Earphones combine top-quality components and ergonomic design for a truly musical experience.

They come with soft silicone earbuds in three sizes, enabling you to enjoy maximum comfort with minimal outside distractions - great for travelling!

Designed for use with MP3 and CD players, these in-ear earphones deliver ‘big' sound with impressive bass, thanks to the latest Creative audio engineering and premium drivers that use Neodymium magnets for the best performance. A handy travel pouch keeps them protected when you're on the move.

bought some ep 630 the last time there was a deal they are great one of the best ear phones i have had sound wise. except within 2 weeks i have lost both medium soft ear fitting. They came off when putting in or taking out of my pocket. Are there any better? Or am i the only one with this problem?

wow what a mark up - i have bought a few pairs of these over the years - decent headphones. But they were usually no more than £7! Not voted as I havent looked elsewhere for a better deal - just commenting on the price rise. EDIT: Ignore me I think they were EP 630s i got for £7 - now £8.49 on play if anyone interested

These are bigger and fall out more easily if you are running etc. They are also open ended, so leak sound - something to consider in closed environments.

I didn't find these much of an improvement over the 630s tbh. Perhaps a little more clarity in the highs and mids. Good price, since these were close to £40 when they first came out.

Surely where it says it is sold by "HAMMER" it is from a different source than Amazon.

how about you look to the right hand side and see the Amazon one's for £11.80.

It's hardly rocket science.

OP's deal is to right under "More buying choices"
Amazon.co.uk £11.80

The way Amazon favours marketplace sellers is very irritating IMO. As well as confusing the price and seller, it ruins searches by returning pages of out of stock or out of date gear. I'll bet a lot of people would be happy to filter out all everything that isn't sold by Amazon.

Excellent headphones although I paid around £6 for these over a year ago. If anybody is planning on getting these, make sure you pick the correct earbud size. I did quite a lot of damage to my ears by using earbuds that were too large.

I got these if I rememeber correctly, direct from amazon for a tenner. They come with 3 sets of buds of differeing sizes. They do stay on quite well but if your playing around with them then they can come of now and again. They do need cleaning as well (for obvious reasons). Ths sound if reasonable as well (yes enough bass for most of you) They easily get tangled though which as always is a pain in the backside especially if your walking at the same time (damn you females with your multitasking skills!)

I've just bought a pair of these off a well known auction site for £7.99 delivered

Thanks Spongepad, you should post it as a separate deal. I was just after 630s but all amazon deals are expired. Would you say there is a risk with fake ones from play?

damn, I just bought some from playtrade for a pound more a few days ago; note that I only buy from traders with near perfect ratings and if they aren't 100% I check all the negatives to see whether they're dodgy.

yeah i agree probably fakes as its easy to pass off headphones as real because you cant tell untill you listen to them

for example the cx400 II are being sold for around £35 from reputable sources and then some sellers sell them for £15 so how can they get them for so cheap?

Bought some EP630's from Amazon a few weeks back (cheapest I could find that are DEFFO kosher). Don't bother with cut-price dealers (incl. marketplace: fakes abound). This though is a good price for GENUINE gear from Amazon. BUT after reading a lot of reviews about these versus the EP630s I think the 630s are better (less likely to break/better fit/v.similar sound). Incidentally I've had Sure and Senheisser ear buds (both considerably more expensive) and EP630s blow them away in most respects.

Aye i was looking for the 630s but thought that I would try the 830s to see if they're much different. Saw the 630s on play for £8.49 but they were a market place seller so wasn't interested.

Price up to £12.63 now from Amazon.
