HOT - but the frequency range wont play just over the lowest octave you can hear.

Clearly should be paired with....

I've got a 2.1 set up with a total wattage of 80W (divide by sqare root of 2 to get RMS? my physics is a little rusty...) hooked up to my tv (has a left and right phono output only). The make is 'it works' if that makes any difference. Anyway, my question is, would it even be worth getting these seeing as I would only be making use of 2 of the speakers (am I right?) and that my current subwoofer is probably stronger, but please corret me if i'm wrong, don't know all that much about speakers.

Voted hot btw as £25 is a steal for a set of creatives.

3.5% Quidco for both online and reserve and collect.

Although you do have to supply receipt number and wait four months for the money.

Voted HOT and rep added (with my tiny rep power) :)

None in stock anywhere by me though :(

It's a good deal but I've been boycotting Creative ever since their sound card debacle.

Out of stock in Manchester. Reviews say they are "okay" for £35, I guess £25 is a good price.
H&RA.

You didnt order them for the 360 did you??? They will be no good unfortuntaly unless you just want sound from the front left and right speaker :(

These dont have an optical input so you can only connect the 360 via the stereo phono leads wich means just front left and front right audio, NO subwoofer, center or rear audio..

You can get an adapter that looks like this http://tbn0.google.com/images?q=tbn:KseAUo28eJdevM:http://www.logitech.com/lang/images/0/6776.jpg so that it plays through all speakers but it won't be true surround sound.
#16
p.s. these are pc speakers and are recommended for pc's with a 5.1 sound card.
#17
anybody know where u can get that adaptor from mentioned above?
#18
Ps guys what was the sound card debacle?? Not been up to date with PC hardware for a long time
#20
Would this be able to plug into my lap-top?
#21

thanks m8....

"Do sound cards exist anymore?" Im not even going to answer that because it was a stupid question. :p

You can buy an adapter and the easiest way to connect it would be via the headphone jack on the TV.
#25
which adapter do u use to attach them to the headphone socket on the tv if u dont mind me asking?

Basically you need the Logictech Adapter shown above (if you don't already have it) and you need this cable http://images.play.com/covers/3515978m.jpg you might have one lying around the house or you can find it here. The 3.5mm jack is plugged into the TV headphone output port (mostly found on the side of the telly).
#29
thanks m8.....
just need to find that logitech adapter in the uk if possible....
seems to be in america/canada on ebay :(
#30
