Hot deal for this price. Ive been using these for years but recently upgraded to the creative ep830s when lost a silicone earbud for my latest ep630s, and I like the 830s even more!

Hi I know this one is double the price but I just wonder if anyone has used this pair and whether it's worth paying the extra for it?

They are brilliant for running:thumbsup:

Owned a pair for a couple of months and they come with 3 different sizes of earbuds. They haven't fallen out once;-)

Liddle ol' me
Good spot! Waiting for others' opinions on this.

I own both and have been through many pairs of 630s over the years. I paid £14 a while ago for my 830s and I'd say yes they are better, in both sound quality and looks, and I was happy even with the increase to £14 so for only £10 I say definately go for the upgrade.:)

Not sure exactly how long but i've been using mine for a year and they're plenty long enough to put in your pocket or plug into CV machines!

These are exactlty the same as the CX300's. Taken fron their website:
Further, our official statement on OEM goods regarding the CX300 and other similar looking items is stated below:

"The CX 300 ear canal headphones are manufactured by a Sennheiser production partner in Asia. Since Sennheiser does not own the exclusive design rights for this product, it is up to this or other OEM manufacturer(s) to sell the same or similar products to other companies (like Creative, for example). However, only the CX 300 is compliant with the Sennheiser quality standards, as only this product is continously checked by Sennheiser employees on site."

Heat and Rep added, decided to go for the 830s, like that you can choose the right size fit out of three.
#28
I bought a pair & they stopped working after a couple of weeks so cold
#29
Anyone know how these compare to the MX 90's please - these were dissapointing to say the least (at their RRP):

Is it worth paying £3.30 more for the 830s?

These are exactlty the same as the CX300's. Taken fron their website:

From all the reviews I have read including those of owners, the 830s sacrifice bass in favour of better clarity in the middles and highs. In other words, they appear to be closer to the CX300s in emphasis. It depends upon what you are looking for as to whether they are worth the extra.

The EP-630s are nothing to do with the CX300s regardless of what that website states. They are very different earphones. I have both. It would take you seconds to tell one from the other.

The cabling on the EP-630s has changed over the last few months. It used to be a solid rubber tubing that really helped keep it untangled and sprang back into place. Now it is a bit more plasticky and retains bends and kinks more readily.

got these last week when they were just under £7

im not a pro when it comes to headphones but these honestly do sound awesome!

great price
#32
ordered the 830's - seemed rude not to
#33
Been using these for a while and love them, well worth the price.
#34
Just ordered a pair, hope they're as good as TrustedReviews make them out to be
#35
Had mine for a year and still going strong, despite use in gym and on XC mtb expeditions.

Put them in right and they are fine.

Soundwise excellent - just bear in mind that 128 bitrate is not as good as 320 - a fact that some people seem to forget when they say they don't sound very good.

Excellent phones and excellent price.

Both the reviews on here compare the EP-830 favourably with them http://www.play.com/Electronics/Electronics/4-/5486460/Creative-EP-830-In-ear-Earphones/Product.html?cm_mmc=Froogle-_-Electronics-_-Portable-_-Creative%2BEP-830%2BIn-ear%2BEarphones&source=5065&engine=froogle_electronics&keyword=Creative+EP-830+In-ear+Earphones (and you'll notice the amazon price is £4 cheaper than play)
