I last got these in April from Amazon around a similar price, just last week they stopped working grrr!! No sound out of the right ear bud only left side works. Need another pair, these sound good for this price range.

These are very good. Deep bass and good dynamic range, provided you insert them correctly (see instructions in review section on amazon). I personally don't like them because of the noise carried into my brain when the cable touches anything but this applies to all in-ear noise-cancelling headphones..
#4
Were they not £5 at one point? I'm hoping they go that low again.

Don't they have a two year warranty? Just replace them. Sony fontopias suffered the same problem - the left side would always die. Replacing under warranty was never an issue.

but this applies to all in-ear noise-cancelling headphones..
Just a not to anyone interested in buying them - these aren't noise cancelling, more sound isolating earphones.

Prices all over the place for these, could easily pay over £20. So great buy!

Been looking for a while now to replace the ipod Nano's originals. They seem just the kiddie reading the reviews. With no delivery charge seem a good buy for the quality. Ordered 2 pairs for the family ipods

Cheers, rep&heat!

£4.60 with that Amazon voucher from ages back, scorching!

Spend a little more and get the SenHeisser CX300s, well worth the small premium.

They look identical to these, do they use better drivers?
#11
Do you have the link for the cx-300?

This is actually happening to me. I have the same headphones, and the right earbud is noticeably quieter than the left, and I'm guessing it'll eventually stop working.

Apart from that issue, these headphones are great.. Going to see if I can get a replacement myself :)

Happens with most cheap canalphones, especially these (same as CX300), usually last me about 4-6 months at a time

Happened to me and it turned out to be a broken wire in the jack plug.

I've had cx300's for over a year without a problem, unlike the sony that died twice in less than a year.

The cx300 certainly seem better than most cheap canalphones. The whistling (again, evident on most cheap canalphones) drives me crazy sometimes though - I guess I should move to somewhere less windy. =]

I use these, well worth it for the price. And especially good now Amazon are doing the free delivery for £5.
#24
These are the same design as the Sennheiser CX 300 but I believe use different components. There are a lot of fake CX 300's (search on Google) selling for less than £10 whereas the cheapest from "reputable" dealers is around £17, and that is still a sizeable discount from the RRP. Be careful where you by this type of headphone from.

Are they genuine? There are a lot of china fakes around especially on auction sites. People should be aware of this.
#28
As far as I can tell they are genuine, best earphones I have had. I bought them for travelling, but they are better than my £40 JVC ones so use them all the time now!
#29
Cheers, been looking for some to replace my CX300's H+R
#30
I have these and they are brilliant for the price. Definitely worth getting now.
#31
Interesting that they look almost identical to my Sennheiser CX-300s..

Are you saying Amazon or selling fakes, or are you refering to the cheaper versions in the marketplace?

what a dopey comment!!!!!. you honestly think in your right mind a mega HUGE online retailer would sell fake headphones . could you only imagine what that would do to there credibility if it were true . not in a million years

I have been using a pair of these for something like 3 years now and I like them better than the Shure in-ear pair I bought in the US last year (to the point I never used them more than a couple of times). These are excellent for the price.
