Was looking for a decent pair of earphones to go with the cheap creative zen vision M I got from sainsburys. Found these on Amazon - if you can add another £8 to your order you can get free delivery on them. They seem to get very good reviews whereever I look.

orlando08, hmm... do you not find them noisy with the Touch?

I was just about to post saying NOT to buy these if you have a Touch.
When mine are plugged into the Touch and no music is playing there is quite a lot of background noise even on default volume.
Using my Sony EX70's there is no noise at all, and also using a pair of Senn cans - no noise.
Just these Creative earphones and the Touch = noise.
What's weird is they don't suffer this problem on my old iPod (2nd Gen 10gb)

I'm not the only one, I just found this thread

any know if these are better then the standard in-ear sony headphones you get with the w850i phone? was thinking of geting a new set but if they are not noticeable then i dont see the point.

Voted hot anyways.

I bought these months back when posted on here at the same price, I've not used them but they do sound like my Sony Ericsson walkman earphones.

I tried similar ones from DX for a few quid and there are not a patch on these. Ended up binning them and getting another pair EP-630. Voted Hot.

sound as bad as headphones you get with mp3 players and fall apart just as quick get some Sennheisers instead
#19
These are great, just bought some for my mum as well.

Got a pair of these for my iPod already and going to get some more...they're excellent value at this price.

What? Like the similar Sennheiser CX300s you mean? Less bass than the EP-630s, no more robustly made and the cords tangle more easily. I have had both these and the Sony EX71s. These Creatives are the best overall and a snip at this price.

What bundled earphones in your opinion sound as good as these? Just curious.
#24
Good find. However, slightly cheaper on ebay for these same headphones.
#25

Seems like they have reversed their decision, and have reinstated the links to the modded drivers

Thanks to the good reviews I just bought a brand new pair from ebay priced at £4.99 delivered. At this moment there are only 2 pairs left at that price.
If they are a bargain at £7.98 then £4.99 is a very good bargain.

Nice find - pair ordered.

Just be careful on ebay or Amazon marketplace. These are one of the most faked items sold. I got a dodgy pair on AM, but got my money back no questions asked.

Don't see what this has to do with earphones...

A LOT of them are fake, I would rather pay the extra few quid and buy from Amazon.

How do you know if they are fake?

yes that only effects sound cards. Earphones are not effected and are still great quality.

Here:

These are pink ones, you can easily find the Orange, RED, or Green ones if you prefer - follow links at bottom of page for related items. They have real good reviews.

Here are some new ones they got in recently:

Can't comment on quality - but I've ordered a pair. These look identical to the ones above, so I hope they are even better quality.

Sometimes you get some **** ones - these are price at £8, so for £8 you could get 4 pairs - at least one of them will be good! And you have some spairs!

Maybe they are genuine - BUT although I buy almost everything of ebay I don't buy certain things becuase there are just too many fakes.

Check internet.
#38
If the Ebay ones don't come boxed then they're definate fakes, also try to lightly scratch the Creative logo on the back of the earpieces, if it scratches away then again fake.

I bought a pair of these for work the last time they were posted on here. I already have a pair of seinhiser cx300's which I use at home - I belive both are made in the same factory and rebranded, as they are almost identical (cable is different)

Have used both pairs for several months and yesterday the creative's cable broke with the left not working, which is quite annoying. My older mx500's with the different style cable lasted over 2 years of use at work (they died when I accidently cut the cable with scissors..).
Think I will get some cheap ones from deal extreme to steal the cable from and fix these.. other than that they are very good.

There are plenty of photos of the EP-630s online. Compare the shape and size of the phone components with the pictures, if you have never seen the EPs in the flesh before. Look at the stamping of the logo. Is it even and centred? Usually, the (lack of) packaging gives it right away. The cable should be non-tangle rubber bound. If it is firm, shiny plastic, then that is another giveaway.

Final test, stick 'em in your ears. If they sound gash with no bass, then they are most likely knock-offs.

Mine arrived with the left channel a quarter of the volume of the right. Tinny sound. The cable was wrong. The black part of the earbuds was wider than the silver ring around the middle. The rubber earmounts did not sit flush with the bud. The packaging was just a plastic pouch, rather than the toothbrush shaped box it currently comes in. All in all, a very poor copy. Others may not be obvious until you try them. Probably a lot of the negative reviews of similar earbuds come from people using fakes and not realising.
