Sorry but for another £15 you can get an 80GB ipod video from John Lewis, which I think is slightly better value and will hold its second-hand value better.

They are all out of stock as far as I can see, and are £159 exc. P&P. I think this is a good deal. But has anyone bought a refurbished handset, what was the experience?

May be so but the Vision is miles better than the IPOD. Drag and drop, plays almost all DIVX / Xvid out of the box without the need to convert and IMHO has better sound (especially when you take the EU volume lock off).

Anything has to be better than Itunes, surely the worst piece of software ever created, only just pusing Vista into second place :)

my 30gb zen vision is the best thing ever. so easy to use and non intrusive with drag and drop - plus you can scart it to the tv and watch your movies fuss free! ipods are for sheep.

Added some heat for ya.

Great price for a 60gig Vision M.......I also have the 30gig one....great,solid player, and considering my lodger just paid £190 for one(not a savvy shopper and very impatient!!) this represents good value:thumbsup:

Thanks... At the end of the day it's what you like best that does it for you. I personally think iPod's are terrible. It's a hyped brand but it does not mean it is great. It does look good though and it's thanks to Apple that others are on the market offering superior solutions.

The Vision on the other hand is extremely powerful and an excellent mp3/mp4 player.

Each to their own eh.

60GB is now out of stock.

I much prefer the Vision M to the 5th Gen Ipod anyday, only thing the Ipod 5th Generation and the newer Ipod Classic beats the Vision M on is in build quality.

Compared to the 5th Gen Ipod the Vision M has a better screen (better resolution and colour ratio), better battery life (particularly with video), more features (FM Radio) and more compatiblilty across file formats, and better sound!

I owned one of these(60gb version) for over a year now. They are excellent for not just music but for watching movies/TV programmes from PC on a TV.

You just need an extra av lead, which I got for around £3.

It plays basicly all video formats, AVI, divx etc and audio formats. With a very good hd screen built in, great for passing the time while on train etc.

The supplied headphones are terrible IMHO, but you probably have your own anyway.

I had a 30gig Vision M last Christmas (or were they 20 back then?). Anyway I was very pleased with the sound quality, and the quality of the mp3 player.

Sadly I dropped it and it cracked the LCD :(

EDIT - OUT OF STOCK now BTW

Have got the 30gb version and it is superb. Got it for £10 cheaper than it is now, but still a bargain. Expect it to have maybe a couple of marks on the body but the screen will be perfect.
Get a screen protector when you get it as it will scratch quite easily if you don't.
These do seem to come in and out of stock , so Keep checking for availability.

Damn I had been waiting for this deal specifically. And now they're all out of stock before I manage to order.

Anyone got any idea how long it's likely to be before they're back in stock?
