I have this mp3 player. Great player. Pity the expandable memory slot doesn't integrate in to the main music area though. You access it seperately. Plus when you switch it back on, if you've been listening to music on the memory card it doesn't remember where it was. No plans for Creative to fix this problem either even though thousands of people have emailed them on their forum.

Remember to download the latest firmware for it when you buy it because it didn't play all of my mp3 collection until I did so.

The sound on this thing is awesome though.

One last thing. Get a screen protector from Extremedeals because the screen scratches easier than a National Lottery scratchcard.

Its also a bit picky about DivX playback, even though it supports it, it has to be the right resolution so you'd probably have to convert all videos anyway

I'm not sure if those who have creative mp3 players had problems with the 'White screen death'.
I had mine for about 2 months, and the screen was gone!
All white! Contacted the customer service and they've gave a set of instruction to set it back (press the reset button and so on) but the player was still the same.
In the end, gotta send it back to the factory and now waiting for a replacement.

Other than that, I totally love it!

might have a gander at this due to me selling my iriver clix 2 and buying a meizu m6

i think the meizu will be better though but we'l see

That's a really good price. Hot!

Great price for a great little player, very tempted to upgrade my 8gb for this one now...

Heated - but can they not make these with full screens and the controls on the edges?
#11
I have the 8GB version and it's great, but like someone mentioned about the expandable memory problem, that is abit misleading. Hope they fix it in the future. I'm looking to get 32GB version but still a great price for 16GB :D

DAMN IT!

bought the 4gb 1 month ago, was looking at the 16gb, but too expensive at the time!

decided the 4gb would be enough to watch videos (NARUTO & LITTLE MOSQUE ON THE PRAIRIE), and i use an sd card (2gb) for music @ 64kbps

excellent player! use the creative software to convert videos, as you will have no issues with compatibilities.

defos get a screen protector, iv got a screen protector plus the original creative zen casing, bit much @£9.99 but more than worth it.

play.com for the case (£9.99), and flea-bay for the screen protectors (5 for £4.99)

it has a directional-pad for menu navigation, it would be tricky to put that on the side.

Conversion software is bundled and super easy to use (but obviously like all video conversion it takes a while). Never had any probs with vids not playing.

Divx support was what made me choose this and it fully lives up to expectations.

Sorry to bring this back up but does any know if there's a suitable dock for this? or could I plug this into my AV receiver?

and price is now £129

Thanks

like any other player you can simply use the headphone out as a line out and get "3.5mm jack -to- RCA" cable and hook it up to the line in of your amp/receiver.

but there is probably a dedicated dock somewhere, probably a ripoff
