I am fed up with people saying you need full memory card integration.

This player is excellent in all respects, the SD card slot is a bonus. Its much better than iPods, the screen and battery life are much better. Just do what I do, keep movies on the card and music and pics on the main memory. I have a 4gb Zen and 16gb card.

It doesn't work on Mac through! Really annoys me, cant even get XLJB to work with the stupid thing. I can only save songs to my SD Card. I'm going back to my Ipod!

Great player, great price. Really lightweight and small. Screen is very good and the sound quality is impressive. Highly recommend this to people.

Crazy how it doesn't work on a mac, seeing as Apple and Creative have stopped arguining and creative make iPod docs etc... Maybe they still hold a grudge from all those years ago when Apple stole their idea and their player became huge whilst Creative struggled.

I totally agree with you doublekite. I see the SD card expansion as a bonus as you can save all your videoes on the SD card, leaving the more important media files (photos, music etc) where you do want full integration on the Zen. I've had my 16GB model for 3 months now and can't fault it. All my music is on the Zen, with all my films on the SD card. I find it easier to transfer films via my SD card to watch the films instead of connecting the player to the PC every so often.

Just looked at Amazon and the 4GB is now only £45.00, so thats £40 for 12 Gig extra, surely a 8GB external card for under £10 would make a wiser buy at £55 for 12 GB, looks exactly the same ? ?

Very good point, it may depend on your requirments though, I was looking at the 32GB model for £149. I'm really tempted with this model now because I can make it back up to 32GB with a 16GB SD card from play (£17.99) saving over £40.

I have the 8GB version (bought a few weeks ago at £80 :x:x) and put an 8GB card in it, it is easier to use than my wifes ipod and easier to put music vids etc onto, well worth the price
about the card integration, just put seperate things on that like photos or videos and then fill the zen with music or vice versa, it's not to hard to switch back and forth

Excellent play and good value for this price. Memory card integration is not a problem with this player. I've set up the hardware shortcut button to open the memory card directly so no having to navigate the menus. Voted hot !

Yeah but why put in a good feature and then not implement it properly? Cowon managed it with the D2 and anyway, I would only be using this for music.
