Looks a very good deal.
Problem is I've already paid significantly more (£139 & £175*) to get two such to replace my old things.
I couldn't justify myself buying yet another no matter how tempting !

* A Cowon D2 and a Sony NZX1060 32gb

May be a good price, but seems pretty useless for playing video, which needs to be transcoded to play on this. No TV out connection either. Seems to be a couple of years behind the Chinese PMP manufacturers who are now shipping HD players with HDMI sockets!

creative is top buy if you are buying for music, I have tried archos, cowon and none of them comes even close, for watching video on 2.5"... it just gives you headache, too small... if you plan to buy for video, go for compact archos like 405... it gives you reasonable 3.5" screen and plays more formats... you should not receive messages like "video format not supported" etc...
if you want to wait for a while go for creative zii egg which is coming very soon... but is going to be quite expensive, around 200 pounds for 30gb version...

Whats it like for bookmarking resume, etc ? I use mainly for audiobooks.
Never found any to match the Rio for superb bookmarking.

Yes, have looked at the 405, however its display is 4:3 and you need a separate adapter to hook up to a TV, coupled with reported poor battery life, and Archos fondness to charge extra for everything, I went off the idea.
Hadn't heard about the Zii before, though it sounds more like a development platform rather than a product. The marketing video for the chipset is enough to put anyone off :-)

I'm looking to replace my Zen Micro (6GB) with this.

I want it for the music and am not worried about the associated problems converting videos.

I like using Creative Organizer software that came with the Zen Micro. Can this be used instead of the Centrale software, as I hear this is not very good or user friendly?

Thanks
