This is a bit a culmination of various promotions available at the moment.

Boots currently have the 2gb Zen V+ for £55 delivered in their Summer Sale. There's also triple points and a bonus 1,000 points available for a spend in excess of £50. Total bonus points awarded equates to £16.59.

On top of this there Creative are currently running a promotion for a free set of TravelSound P30 Speakers with the purchase of any Zen+. These look to retail at around the £25-£30 mark. This part of the deal is via direct redemption with the promoters.

Quidco is also available at 3.5%

Edit - Added the new 750 point code. Add an extra low value item (like cotton buds for 55p)to make basket total over £55.

New points total 2,415 (£24 instore spend)

Why isn't this hotter? I actually just found this deal for myself using mattwoodfield's Boots triple-points post and it's a steal!

ebuyer are selling this mp3 player for £60.45, so when you deduct all savings here, it amount to £36.48 for a cool little MP3 player? This is

HOT HOT HOT!

One thing though, I can't get the PDF claim form to load. Can anyone else? If so, what would be the chances of having it mailed to me?

Yes, this is a great deal. I've had this player for the past year...sound quality is easily as good as ipod if not slightly better....get some sennheiser cx300's.
It just didn't sell due to the ipod drones not really knowing there are better value alternatives.

This has so many more features than the iPod shuffle and better in price. Looks are a matter of taste, and tbh, I like both of them in equal measure.

The main thing with this player though, is that you don't have to use iTunes!

Not quite sure how you get to that conclusion :?

It's not a Zen + so doesn't qualify for the speaker promotion
#13
I reached that conclusion on the basis that it is a 4GB as opposed to a 2GB. I would rather have twice the storage space for music rather than a cheapo set of speakers but that is a personal view.
Also the screen is far too small to see anything on so as for watching video clips, it's a waste of time.

:-D

Fair enough but if you are in the market for a 2gb Zen+ then I don't think you can get this any cheaper. Especially now the Boots points total can be bumped up to over £24 :)

Sorry, i can't work out how to add up the boots points to £24, can some one help me out here?

I know the triple points = £55 *3 = 165 points
i know the 750 point when spend over £55 = 750 points

but where are the 1000 bonus points from? even with the 1000 points added, the total is still 1915 points, not 2400 points!
#16
normal boots points = 4 per £1 spent, thus triple points = 12 per pound spent so:

£55 * 12 = 660
>£55 = 750
totals 1410

then you have the extra 1000 making a grand total of 2410!

The triple points offer and extra 1,000 points ended on Tuesday so the points available now are only 970 (ish)
