Not so sure now - computer shopper only gave it 3 out of 5 in this months mag.

Screen on current ipod is just as good and the controls on this are a bit iffy?

Anyone else any thoughts?

I have the 30gb vision m.A fantastic mp3 player, got a great many plaudits and excellent reviews when it came out.i cannot see how the extra memory could suddenly make it any different.

The control system is not as sensitive as some would make out,it just needs adjusting and you soon get used to it.

Of the people I know, those who have a Creative mp3 player have not had any problems with it,such as freezing and constantly having to reset, from those with the zen touch to me with the vision m.Cannot say that about those who have an ipod.

Noted - however - it is the 30 GB version that is reviewed this month and given the three stars.

My brother in law has this (30 vrs) - he loves it, thinks its way better than the ipod - he gave me a shot and sure enough he had to use his "technique" to use the touchy up and down bit.

Not very technical I know but...

Probably still end up buying one - only thing is the new ipods have just as good a screen now....oh the dilema....
