Great price and great player :) I'd take one over an Ipod any day!

great player with fantastic video playback.

Beware though, if you pc isnt up to date with sp2 etc you may have probs getting it recognised.

I have one of these and would heartily recommend it to anyone - fantastic player

The 30GB (pink) is only £109 at Boots.com with £12 worth of addy points and 6% quidco. Approx £90 inc delivery.
I would never pay £80 more for an extra 30gb and usb host function, even if it is in black.

60gb model also has USB Host feature. which means you can plug your digital camera or your PSP into it and use it as a hard drive while on the road...

So its possible to transfer data :whistling: to/from this to your PSP memory stick via USB

Got this down to around £157 with NUS discount and a £5 gift voucher I had. Cheers

what NUS discount?
#12
5% discount if you have an NUSextra card. You get a unique promotional code which gives you 5% off (up to a maximum saving over a year of a £xxxx) at Amazon.co.uk.

what NUS discount?

NUS stands for National Union of Students. I would buy one of these but my G1 iPod just would not die in spite of daily use for almost 6 years now. Talk about durability!

anyone know the cheapest place to get the 30 GB BLACK Creative Zen Vision M with/without using discount codes?

Sorry, my code was a unique (and presumably traceable) code which I added to one order, and ever since amazon have just automatically deducted 5% from every order I make.

Does anyone know any deals going on the 30gb model at the moment? I don't really want the pink one, but I'm hoping to find another £110 deal like the boots one.
#33
Anyone else recieved this player yet (60gb from amazon)?
And have you got the slimmer one?

bit of a hit and miss, some ppl have received the new slim version whereas others have been the receipients of the more bulky version...so it all comes down to ur luck i guess!

Received mine today - I got the slim version

When I ordered it was £169.99 but Amazon have confirmed a refund of £10 as it went down to £159.99 before being dispatched.

All in all a fantastic deal, only a little more expensive than the current 30Gb deals. Love the idea of being able to download pictures directly from digi camera if card space is running low due to the USB host feature exclusive to the 60Gb version.

Currently downloading all of my music that recently exceeded the capacity of my old Zen Xtra 30Gb (still working fine 3 years later). Gotta love Creative, spend their money on decent sound quality rather than a funky marketing campaign!

Only saw your post about the discount today, rayman. Thanks, I emailed amazon this evening and just got a reply giving me a £10 refund using their 30 day price promise. Also, my original 5% student voucher was calculated against the higher £169.99 price, so an extra saving there.

Excellent service from amazon as usual.

One thing to be aware of with the Vision M's is the lack of a normal charger in the box (you just get a usb connection) - apparently takes significantly longer to charge via USB (I wouldn't know though, the charger I bought blew up 30 seconds into it's first charge, so back on the USB at the mo!).

The 30gb is a fantastic unit though, once you get used to the sensitivity of the scroller. The video quality is fantastic, especially watching the likes of The Simpsons, Father Ted or Family Guy avi files.

Oh, don't forget to invest in a case... the enclosed bag is no use, the leather one i got first was a little bulky, so I now use a skintight black one (handy if you have a pink unit!) for only a few quid with an essential screen protector.

I got mine from Amazon for £130ish last month to replace a dead Archos 202S, the quality of this is just fantastic in comparison... so £159 for 60gb is a steal!
