you do know this is hard disk based, right?
#2
eh???
#3
as in it has a hard disk inside it, rather than flash chips which are pretty much the norm these days.

this is probably a better choice

Kind of ticks the boxes, TV out (X-fi no TV out), and native AVI (SD) support (X-Fi ...not sure, experiences vary),. External flash support great, Compact flash only..!
Price is OK, but it was way overpriced to start with. Hot, but very end of line.

Xfi2 does.

Littlewoods....Pahhhh! Don't get me started.

Xfi2 does.

Still, not much use use if you have to convert all your files.
Does not support 720X576 (pal) or 720X480 (ntsc) or even, it would appear, the published supported resoutions, with some proprietary conversion.
It really iritates me how manufacturers bury these fundamental (lack of) features into thier specs.
I know you can't have everything, but I wish that there was a just a little more transparency

Very old machine. I don't recommend due to poor screen quality heavy blurring etc plus the controls are rubbish. Get an archos for part of the price.
#12
yes comments helping , but what is that about archos is that the same price bracket and is the quality of this that bad

Bit cheper, half the weight, screen much much better - almost twice the resolution and no motion blur, twiece the hd sieze, WI-Fi, Touchscreen and far superior interface. Plus loads of othe features.

Zen W is a 4 year old machine. 149 for it is a joke!
