You could set team chat to output through tv speakers, but the mic would still need to be plugged into the controller I reckon.

Are these better than the USB logitech Clearchat PRO headset in anyone's opinion?

I've looked for reviews/comparisson's for these headsets but it's hard to find any!! Looking to use it with my PS3 (P.S. I know these ones are minijack)
#15
Aparently the USB version of this headset doesnt work properly if u have a soundcard, so quite happy with the mini jack version as headphones and mic have their own port :)
#16
i got these when they were £15 from dell and have just sold them for 25 quid!

wheeling and dealing aside, I think they offer quite good sound quality but didn't find them as comfortable as some for prolonged wear. The build quality didn't seem all that impressive either, they are quite plasticy and felt a little cheap. Then again - they were!

Also, the cable isn't all that long so if you plan to use them with your hifi that might be a problem for you. I'd prefer something with a chunkier more robust cable; the one on these is very thin.

On the plus side, I like that the mic is detachable and these things come with a little bag you can store them in, which is nice. For this price they're pretty good 'phones

Are these any good for listening to music.
Thank's

I have owned this headset since Xmas and I'm overall very impresses with it.

They are a little bass heavy but the sound isn't far off my my Shure IEM's!

For gaming they're also really good for FPS games as you can hear the enemy coming round the corner etc.

Good Price!

These are good head phones but i wouldnt say fata1ly stuff is good(apart from this) its overpriced because they pay him for the name.... theres a fata1ly gaming power supply which makes no sense and its more expensive then better ones. This is a good headset though and great price, voted hot.

Can someone who has these headphones can answer this.

Are there 2 cables ? i.e. one for input for sound + one ouput for mic ??

If so could I possibly use them with one of these

Hi. I already own a pair of these for my PC and was looking to get a second pair use with a digital piano.

I shopped around, and decided to buy a more expensive Sennheiser HD435 for £35 instead, thinking they would be better.

That turned out to be a huge mistake. The sennheiser HD435 in comparison to these were a lot quieter, even with the volume turned to full, and the sound was very tinny and cheapened the sound quality of my digital Piano compared to these Creative Fatility ones, which actually sound better then the piano's speakers do!!!

Fortunately my HD435's only arrived today and I have requested a return, and then I just spotted this deal and ordered myself a second pair of Creative Fatility headphones for just £17.07!!!

The sound quality found on these headphones cannot be matched in the same price range by other headphone manufacturers, you would probably have to pay well over £100 to get a similar sounding headset from another company!

This version is the one with a normal headphone jack, not USB, so it will work with just about any device, plus it has the added bonus of having a detachable microphone, so if you want to use it for a walkman, piano, or handheld games console, you can just remove the microphone and use them like normal headphones.

They are unbeatable for this price, unless you fancy paying maybe £100 or more on an alternative headset, you will not find this level of sound quality on a headset below £50 - Believe me, I already tried and compared an alternative from the same price range to these and there was no comparison to made because the HD435 just sounded cheap, tinny and tacky after being used to hearing my PC, music and piano on these Creative Fatality headphones.

I am looking forward to my second pair at this great price, and can hopefully forget about the mistake I made of buying those sennheiser ones.

take it you`ve owned other fati1ly gear ie sound cards etc ?

is there stuff overpriced ? this headset isn`t
#34
Good, all round phones :)

Can get a 'little bit' uncomfortable after 2-3 hours after continual wearing, so make sure you take them off once in a while during play!

Had mine since Christmas and played Fallout 3 virtually all the way through with them - the sound quality was excellent ;-)

Great price.

Excellent, this is why I visit this site daily, just bought a headset from amazon, luckily it hasn't arrived yet, so I can send it back and get these instead, judging buy the good reviews on here I think I have made the right choice!

I can keep mine on all day and they never get uncomfortable - It depends on the size of your head and ears, so they will be more comfortable for some people then others.

Fatality products are usually overpriced by around £5 - £10 because you have to pay for the brand name, but these headphones are the exception. I wouldnt buy a fatality motherboard or soundcard, but these headphones are worth the money.
#37
How does the sound quality compare to in-ear Seinheisser CX300 or Creative Labs EP-630?

Thanks.

Ordered, thanks

As previously asked a few times.

Can these be used with the XBOX. I know the mini jack will probably be too big, but can an adapter be used to reduce the size of it so it will fit into the controller?
And if this is possible, would the batteries in the wireless controller last substantially less time?

Or alternatively, would I be able to plug these into my amp, whilst still being able to use the mic ?

Set up is XBOX>>>>AV reciever>>>>TV all connected with HDMI.

So many questions...........
