Pretty pointless really, I bought these ages ago and couldn't find any real use for them so I binned them.

Thanks Op heat added. 61p and free postage makes this a great little gadget and tremendous value. As someone who used to go on camping holidays with young children I agree that it sounds just the job for a safe night light.

If you want a bit of fun for the kids you could easily make Roman style oil lamps, there's plenty of how tos online using things like modelling clay and all they need is some rolled up kitchen towel or cloth as a wick and traditionally the fuel was olive oil.
