If you like your lights NOT powered by the unholy 3AAA batteries then this seems a good intro to a Cree LED EDC (every day carry) torch (=flashlight).

£9.95 and p&p £1.95

150 lumen turbo, 1h 12m
80 lumen, 2h,
30 lumen, 6h,
3 lumen, 80h

It is pretty compact in 1AA terms 31g and 91mm.

This is not Eagletac or a Foursevens or a Fenix or a NItecore etc etc however it is a fraction of the price.
I'm not expecting much but I'd be less unhappy losing this one at work than my £40 Sunwayman C10a

Xtar do some nice chargers and batteries too.

I'll let you know what it is like when I get one :)

The apparent 300lm versions are on ebay for £4.50 delivered. I received mine. It works exceptionally and has adjustable focus and 3-modes.

Glad you received it, how does it compare to your other lights?

You have a two level light with a strobe mode there. What level is the low mode and the runtime?

Have you got link to a review to allow a comparison?

What is the weight like? How long is the waterproofing good for? It looks like it has a collimator lens on the front rather than an orange peel reflector so I guess a lot of the output is wasted inside the body of the light? What is the beam profile like ?
Does the zoom let water in ? etc etc etc
