4K on Netflix is not really comparable to a decent 4k Blu-ray. Not enough bitrate and too heavily compressed. I have fiber broadband and to my eye its often not up to regular Blu-ray standard, let alone 4K.

For those of you wanting to try this just to see what the format is like, don't bother. Like many early 4K releases this one is upscaled from something very similar to the standard Blu-ray resolution. Having watched several of these in the past few weeks, there really is very little difference in picture quality to a normal Blu-ray, even with HDR. If you want to sample what the format can do get something like The Revenant which is native 4K and absolutely stunning on a decent UHD TV, watch it then sell it on.

Whachadoing
Or watch it on netflix in 4k ... Why would you buy?

Thanks. I checked they didn't have any other 4Ks at £6.99. Would of almost literally killed for Deadpool.

Great post.

all gone on argos ebay site but surely they got plenty on argos online. Well, I now need the player , lol. Anyone can address me for the best xbox S bargain??
I did the same thing with the ps3 when it came out, started to play the BR, did spend £500 only for that, other players were at over £1000 at the time

says 2 disc on the description so looks like it does include the blu ray as well.

Bought. Don't have a 4k tv or anything but it's cheaper than the normal Blu Ray anyway.

Can't be ar*sed to do that. They are at least £20 so a tidy profit for who ever wants to.

Superb price... A few more cropping up at this price would be wonderful. Thanks OP.

that is how I started with the blurays. I got a cheap bluray movie from ebay purchased for curiosity but then cost me over £2000 to buy the rest and only few days later, lol

great film.

Ordered. Lets see if they honour it.

keep an eye on ebay, they might comeback if they do not spot the error and surely they do not like to get negative feedbacks in case it is an error. Mine does say posted already

Haha. Thankfully, lack of funds will prevent that happening with 4K for now. Besides, I think I have too much pride in my Blu Ray collection at the moment to betray it to a new 4K obsession :D

Pity it's not an actual good film.

here we go, wondering what will happen to his feedbacks if argos will not honour his 100's of copies he just purchased. Also confirming it does include the bluray copy. The downside is that argos might look in to the big orders and cancel all:

Looks like he put this up yesterday morning. Has about 18 copies, I think.

Sort of on topic, anybody here got an Xbox One S yet? What's the fan noise like?

Always been put off using consoles as movie players in the past as they make too much background noise.
#25
At last, a 4K bluray that is actually affordable, though obviously a misprice. Still here's hoping they honour all the orders, that way I will finally have a 4K bluray for my Xbox One S.

Red hot, so long as Argos have plenty in stock... ;)

I have one, virtually silent to me, slight noise if you are close to it, from normal seating position though virtually undetectable. Bit of drive noise when the drive spins up e.g. after putting a game or bluray in but settles down quickly. I'd rate it as way quieter than my PS4 (though it is a launch model so noisier than the newer ones) and comparable to the original Xbox One, possibly a little quieter but more or less the same.

Some people have reported noisy Xbox One S systems but i suspect they may have been a bad batch as I haven't found it noisy at all.

no, only 2 hour ago. This month is made of 31 days.
Anyway, this would go well with this movie and for the people not having a 4k screen yet, it does include ( I think) a blu ray copy and picture(from the 4k copy) on a 1080p screen from a 4k player should also be clearer:

How do you download this? Looks like it's a box with some sort of shiny flat circle inside? oO

by the look of it, it does definitely include the BR copy, the seller does sell it separately, look at the description back picture:

Missed the eBay lot which I suspect will be honoured, and ordered through the site, which I suspect won't.. Here's hoping though.
