Sissi is a nice place, quite and relaxing with some very good restaurants along the harbour. The Bella Vista is about a 15-20 minute walk from Sissi town, so prepare for that, but I know people who stay there year after year and really rate the place. Fantastic price

There's a Kefalonia saver available with the same operator from Manchester on 29th June, for 2 adults £169pp, might be a goody :-D

Unspoilt by large louts and chav free
Been there twice and would happily go again at this price.
Plenty of bars and Resturants but not much there for the kids and the teenager
Just a nice relaxing holiday, very friendly.

For the first time ever YES. Most deals on here are from London/Manchester so makes a nice change to have one from the south :)
#13
Good deal.

£333 for two people - sounds like a bargain, especially when reading the reviews above!! Will get the missus to have a look (decision maker!) and might get this booked up today!! Cheers OP. H&R

Great price! Nice part of Crete, shame my kid doesn't finish school till 23rd July!!
And yes Bournemouth has an excellent airport with a brand new Terminal!! Come and fly from the south coast! No delays, no hussle, no M25, cheap parking!!

then you are going to the wrong restaurants! I go 2/3 times a year and its easy to find restaurants doing 3 course meals for a tenner.

unless of course you live in Elounda ;-)

do you rent it out BTW?

might look into buying a villa for rental as prices are bound to start crashing soon imo.

Crete is my favourite holiday destination along with Cyprus. Very friendly people unlike the Spanish!

No sorry we don't. We bought land there about 20 years ago and built the villa. My parents spend the whole summer there from April to Oct. Maybe you can get a meal for 2 for £20.00 in the cheaper tourist areas but we tend to avoid them.

i have also found eating out in the Mediterranean pretty expensive. in Turkey a 2 course meal was never less than £10, not including drinks. even if you can get a meal for £10, you need to have a couple of meals a day, which makes £20. if say there are 3 in your family that makes £60 per day x 7, which is £420!

of course you can skimp and eat bread and cheese in your hotel room and stuff like that, but i think that the person who made above comment is fair enough.

but apart from that seems a pretty nice deal ...
#31
How do you get this deal for £140??

its coming up as £172 for me

:x
#32
same holiday, but from 13th july for 7 nights for £138.00 .
#33
I actually live round the corner from the Bella Vista, and I am best friends with the owners!
Lovely people all round.

As has been said the hotel is about a 15 minute walk from the main village of Sisi, so best if you want to walk do it as the sun sets when it isnt so hot.

Its about a 15 euro taxi ride away from Malia too for the youngsters who like that kind of thing.

Bella Vista is probably best for familys and couples, although I see all sorts stay and come back year after year.

If you do go, tell them that you know Jon (The Cypriot), and you might get a free drink! lol
Or you might see me proping up the bar
