Strange! This was broadcast by the BBC 10 years ago yet I have no recollection of it whatsoever and I am a Scifi fan.
Online reviews are pretty favorable. Nice find.

it was on a saturday or friday in about whats now the doctor who slot. there's a time machine in it that goes back 1 day only. repeating the day to solve the mystery. (think Tru Calling etc the ideas' wasn't original then and its been done to death since.)

I remember this, I used to watch it along with 'Bugs'. They were both enjoyable, but I don't think I can imagine watching them twice.

Hot deal though...

We did this on a thread not very long back (similar offer).
Great little series, didn't take itself too seriously. You'll probably remember it when you see it, computer that took up a whole room and blew up every episode, has Michael French from EastEnders in it.

Basic premise for pretty much every episode; Michael sees a crime, goes back in time to try and solve it, ends up getting blamed for the crime because he was then at the scene, female partner saves him by the skin of his teeth.

And why do people keep mentioning originiality and comparing this to Tru Calling????
This was aired MANY years before that was devised.

One silly thing is that they aren't allowed to meet themselves when they time travel but when they use the machine to go back in time they then have to then return to it at the time just before they went back; so would meet themselves every time. Apart from this I don't think it's too bad a series, the episodes move along nicely and don't get too concerned with the science of time travel malarky and tend to have a fair bit of action.

There are only 8 episodes spread over 4x DVD5 so it could easily have fit on 2x DVD9.

yup, and I asked if it had dated much- having watched it, blimey it's dated horifically! it really takes something to show the 90s as looking much worse than the 80s! A good fun little prog though, certainly worth eight quid.
