That's a real bargain.
What are the dates on the cans? (not that it's too important with soup)

Tip:
The chicken flavor one makes the best pie filling, just add chicken to the condensed soup, put pastry on top and bake.........Yummy!!!!

Hope this isn't Hong Kong stock. They recently had a recall due to a bad smell...
11-09-2008
Campbell's Hong Kong is recalling two types of canned soup after three customers complained of a bad smell when opening tins. The brands in question are Campbell's Condensed Cream of Mushroom and Condensed Creamy Chicken Mushroom. The two brands are sold in Hong Kong and Macau. The Centre for Food Safety has warned consumers not to eat them and advised traders to stop sales. Campbell's said it ordered the recall because some of its soup had failed to meet quality control standards.

But aren't people in trouble when they're "in the soup"?
I can 't see why you'd want that.
Are you trying to curry favour with someone?

Check the dates on the cans you get. We had some at our local Instore and I got some as I use them for sauces, casseroles etc. They had Oct/08 on all of them so you have to use them fast. I know it's soup and you can go beyond the date a couple of weeks, but wouldn't go too far past that as many of the cans in there were also dinted
#16
I got some of these from the local instore last week and they were 5 for £1

i work as a manager for poundstretcher. and it is 5 tins for a £1.00. and all tins go out of date end oct. not all shops have put down to 5p a tin. but do have to mark down food by 75% on its last week of date.

Still a good price, but clearly the OP's going to have to get his family to eat-up quick. ;)

I don't know what the OP wrote before he edited, but this post is hilarious!!!

Sadly our £stretcher closed a year back, but you can have some heat - you may need it to warm those 100 tins!!

Five for a pound at Burton-upon-Trent

Just wondering what your energy bill will be like after heating your 100 tins of soup within 9 days before they go out of date.. Not forgetting the toilet roll bill. lol
Oh and the pain killer bill for the pain from the muscle strain from carrying them home!!!! Still a bargain eh!!!
#24
there will be no bill.. I shall heat them up in the garden over a fire whilst dancing naked and praying to my norse gods

Tinned food lasts well beyond bbd's, didn't they recently open and ate the contents from a before ww1 and survived.
