Cross Cut Shredder - £14.99 @ Lidl

Cross Cut Shredder

5 sheet capacity
4 x 23mm cross cut
Capacity (L): 17
Automatic start on contact with paper
Reverse function to eject jammed paper
Auto power off
Quiet operation
Free 3 year manufacturer's warranty
Similar item - Cross Cut Shredder, £24.99, purchased at Ryman in Wimbledon on 4th December 2006

In Lidl's current specials they have a X-cut shredder, which is the recommended standard by banks etc. for avoiding identity theft.

I know you can get similar priced ones elsewhere, but the quality of this one is better than any others I have seen for this price, and similar quality seems to cost around £30 elsewhere. German Engineering!

I am a big fan of Lidl's specials. It worth checking their website regularly!

Thanks for this justjustin :) Good price for a cross cut too!
Just got one - absolutely superb bit of kit, very high quality and will mash up your CDs/DVDs and Credit Cards also (perfect for HotUKDeals addicts).

Get 'em quick though these tend to go quick and they've been available since Thursday.
Hi, which Lidl did you buy from please? All the Lidls in my area are out of stock :-(
Maidstone had a few left this morning - though this post is a bit late to be of much use to many. Lidl don't seem to object to bulk buying so this stuff tends to fly out to be resold on ebay or down the market. They recently had Rock Salt lamps for a fiver and I saw two woman buy the entire stock (approx) 50 units between them - staff didn't bat an eyelid. Not fair really.
they have cross cut shredders in tesco £14.97
    delivery is £4.85
collection (for free) in store in some areas
i bought mine off the shelf,so check your local tesco
Woolies also sell them for £14.99 they shred credit cards as well but not cd's
Aldi Sdredder is £17.99 but lots very well built ... 7 sheets at a time but no mention of CDs etc...... large container etc and built like a tank !
