CrossCountry Trains is freezing Standard Advance (one-way) tickets bought online (not in stations) on the CrossCountry Trains website at 2010 prices. While it's calling it a January price freeze it's told us there's no end date as it's not a short term promotion. It's also for First Class tickets bought online.
While you can buy other operators' tickets on the site only Advance and First Class tickets on CrossCountry's services are included. Advance tickets include Birmingham to Edinburgh for £29, Reading to Manchester £19.50, and Bristol to Newcastle £27.
There's no booking fee if you choose to receive an e-ticket.
Collecting your ticket at the station costs £1.
