Back in stock. This is about as cheap as laptop memory can get.

Decent manufacturer and highest speed.

You need Google Checkout to get this price tho.

Voted hot and ordered for a Dell Laptop XP1710 after going through the www.crucial.com/uk memory wizard 1st (£29 direct from Crucial who don't have £10 google checkout discount) to check it was exactly what I needed

Ordered this for upcoming Vista upgrade I will do later this year and for dual channel speed boost I hope.

Could not find this ram by Crucial cheaper anywhere else (who have unsurpassed CS should there ever be a problem)

DDR3 will be at a premium for a while for desktop machines.

DDR2 553/667mhz stuff will continue too fall due to Santa Rosa chipset out by Intel supporting 800mhz SODIMM.

It's just a shame 64bit drivers are still not commonplace, the #1 reason 2gb memory sticks are still expensive, as there is no mass demand for them for 4gb systems which only a 64bit OS and proper 64bit driver support can provide, software is actually holding back the marketplace imo.

Well it aint gonna happen cos ddr2 is the new mainstream bulk memory, which is about to get phased out later this year to make room for DDR3.

Thanks for the post eek voted hot.

OK can't believe I am doing this but....I'm way out of date with laptop memory rules, Trying to help a mate upgrade his new 256mb laptop Celeron M 420 1.6Ghz which I believe is 533mhz memory (EI machine 3089 PC world job) can the 667mhz be used and slowed down or is that still a no go area? and do you have to run in pairs?

Thanks to anyone in advance :) btw I know its not a tech q&a but it is to do with the post.

You snooze you lose...

DDR2 will be mainstream on laptops until well into 2009 assuming 800mhz lasts a while and they announce 1033mhz SODIMM ram next year, that will not be the case for desktops by then though as there are now lots of motherboards coming out with DDR3 now in time this years xmas sales.

Thats 333mhz so half the speed, and it's DDR1 so really only applicable laptops produced (not necessarily sold, old models sold-in-2005 laptops could possibly use this) in 2004 and earlier.

I think they only had about 31 of these in stock? I ended up going for two early this morning so they must have gone pretty quickly :)

available again at £23.08 with google checkout.

Got an e-mail saying delivery will be delayed until the 30th of May, so the £2 delivery I paid for is for 8/9day delivery.

I'll ring up an enote once it gets here asking for a refund if I be bothered and remember ;)

Can somebody remove the 'Expired' from the thread title as this is now available again with 280 in stock.

 You ordered on the 25th which is bank holiday friday and they're closed until Tuesday 29th. Your delivery is scheduled for the 30th which is pretty much the first day your order could be delivered - think you're being a bit unrealistic for it to be delivered any quicker if you chose supersaver delivery.

http://www.hotukdeals.com/forums/showpost.php?p=579968&postcount=2< I ordered on the 22nd.

I've spent thousands with ebuyer over the years and they have refunded or reducded my delivery in the past without complaint
Delivery on the 30th adds up to more than 5 working days obviously 8days from order including the bank holiday, Never in my 30+ orders with ebuyer has delivery days not included weekends etc, they have always included all-days
