I echo this.

Hot!

That's a great price 6gb for less that £50.
#7
they had to fix their act as Samsung, Toshiba, Etc Fined For Price Fixing in Europe
check the link:
http://www.tomshardware.com/news/European-Union-Price-Fixing-DRAM,10462.html

so now the memory price should be more fairer
#8

#9

Yeah I'd like to know as well! Not too sure about ECC/None-ECC etc
#11
better for people to buy ddr3 motherboard & get these faster rams then keep old board & pay alot for ddr2 memory.
#13
Bargain!
suspended#14
shame there's no 2GB 1600MHZ for slightly more
#15
Hot, paid £25 for some 3 weeks ago!
#16
this is HOT
#17
Hot, paid £95 for two of these back in March from Crucial, price has adjusted pretty quick since I bought them.
Works well in an Intel DH57JG i3/i5 ITX board for anyone looking to put together a PC with a small footprint.

I'm not an expert so I could be wrong, but I believe that the HP can use either non-ECC or ECC memory, but not a mix of the two.
#19
Yeah i was reading up on it and it looks like people have taken out the ECC 1gb stick and put in 4 or 8gb off normal Non ECC memory so £30 for 4gb of this will hopefully do the job ! :)
#20
hi - just literally bought this when it was 17.99 a stick so bought 2. Arrived today. Now it's 14.99! Can I get them to price match it down to the current price or don't play do that?

cheers.

This is a bargain! Will go nicely with the HP that I've purchased as well!
#22
hi - re my q - do they pricematch?

also - if not - are play returns easy? cause i could just return and re-order and save money to be honest.

also - is this deal likely to last for this week?

thanks...

Pee'd off that DDR2 can't be had for this price, my PC can do with some more RAM!!! Might just be better option to get these and replace Mobo but need to find a decent 775 Mobo for a cheapo upgrade!

The price fixing happened 8-12 years ago, and they got sued in america for it 3-4 years ago, and apparently Europe only finished this May? 7 months ago.

This will have nothing to do with current prices at all.

Oh for some cheap 4gb modules....
#33
Hi
Heat added for price.
If they are silent on whether they are ECC or not - is it safe to assume they are not ECC?

Thanks in advance
#34
thanks

Top price, picked this up a couple of weeks back at £18 a stick and whacked 12GB of it in my i7 system. Working a charm even OCd :)
