You can try flubiting this using the ebuyer link to try and get it for cheaper too.

Edited By: plath on Dec 19, 2014 12:50: sorry no quidco, read it wrong.

That is a fantastic price for an SSD of that size

Also 10% cashback on quidco.

You can only use one or the other though, but will still bring the price down.
Can't find 10% off at Quidco for this. Can you post a link please?

Thanks but I've already been there. 10% is for garden stuff. Can't see any discount for this type of product. Am I missing something?

great price when you consider 120/8 are around £40
#9
Good price, still not as good as Amazon's Black Friday deal (£120).
#10
I'll sign this up for a cool 100 bones.

I put it in a 2006 Macbook and made a world of difference, even with the MacBook's limited SATA.

Ebuyer, you bar stewards, I would have been all over this like a cheap suit last week.

I take it this won't run with yosemite without disabling a security feature?

****, I didn't even realise this was a thing! So, as I understand, you can still use the ssd but without trim?

2% quidco for PC bits, bought a new graphics card from Ebuyer this week and got that rate. Only calculated the net amount though.

Yes or use trim enabler app which disables kext signing to make it work

Great price. I wonder if it'll fit in my PS4?

Cool, but isn't it the case that none of the older OSs had kext security anyway? If this is the case then it is not really a big deal to disable kexts.

Damnm the temptation is strong in this one.

Probably, I don't know. I know my 2012 one did

Make sure you update firmware on this SSD asap. I have a 256GB M500 and it just disappeared from BIOS about a month ago. The fix was quite easy (on the Crucial forums) and after the firmware update it has been fine...I dont trust it though so always have a backup just in case.
#22
This is a brilliant deal!!
#23
Are the M500's better spec than the MX100's?

Really liked the 240GB version of this drive - I recently replaced it with a 480GB Intel 730 and the performance is comparable. I can recommend this drive, and it's great at this price.

Heat added, thx OP
