Great SSD drive for the price on BT store! Was on amazon for £105 but deal has now expired. Still a great price for an SSD drive though! Read More

Yeah, good luck with that deal after the one Amazon had, even if it is the current best price now... :p

It's not that good a drive for more than light use hence the deals. It was £105 sold by Amazon earlier today. Gone back up to £161, so Tesco is currently the best price. The £38 was just a reseller on Amazon trying to boost their rankings. They didn't seem to have any drives for sale.

If this is cold, can someone point me to a better deal. Not really sure why this is cold. I appreciate it is not the quickest drive ever, but this for a games drive over a mechanical drive...

Funny how the 525GB deal is at 530° and this one currently at -25°. Sure the deal yesterday was better for the 750GB, but the difference in prices between the 750GB here and the 525GB per GB is exactly the same lol. (_;)

Crucial 750GB MX300 £120/750GB =~£0.16 per GB.
Crucial 525GB MX300 £87/525GB =~£0.16 per GB.

It's long write and sustained speeds aren't at the level of some of the better Samsung drives. It's fine, jut not great.

Well, completely misleading article, link refers to the BX200 drive. For sale here is MX300...

Heat added, very good price for this drive.

As genmaxiu says, that's a different drive. The MX300 compares favourably to the Samsung 850 Evo - charts + review here: http://www.storagereview.com/crucial_mx300_ssd_review
