  hotter thsn the other deal posted earlier today. not just because it's a few pence cheaper, but this is the 7mm slim version. exact same specs as the larger one, only slimmer form factor.
  i'm gonna get one real soon for my pc, but should i ever get a slim line laptop furter down the road, this will fit.

  The cheapest I can see the 2.5" to 3.5" desktop brackets on their own on Amazon is about £6.50, so an even better deal!

  yes, sata 3 is backwards compatible with sata 2. the drive will just function at sata 2 speeds (which will still be a MASSIVE speed improvement if your lappy is using a standard hdd at the moment)

  Well I think NAND prices will fall a little under this phase. But if the £ against the $ slips then prices will go up.
