Crucial M4 512GB 7mm 2.5" SSD £404.99 with APRIL25 poss. 2% TCB @ Dabs
It's the CT512M4SSD1 so the 7mm NOT the 9mm thick variant, perfect for my Thinkpad. It's the cheapest I've seen it and whether it's a deal or not is debatable however it's by far the cheapest price I've seen it at and I've just ordered.
Debate away, or not.

you really dont need more than a 120gb. your time really is not that valuable..

Valid point. But if people want to eridicate HDD from their laptops all together, 512GB is a decent size. Plus, you have to think that, if you are using this for a laptop, the actual form factor of an SSD is a lot more secure, it's alot more durable, if you're on a train (or what have you) HDD's in rare cases may split, due to the disc vibrating. Since it doesn't have a disc, it's quieter and won't fault as much as a HDD.

I need adobe master collection, office 2010, in-design etc for work and 3D studio and all textures on my main drive for speed, that's 60gb not including windows 7 64 bit.
I manage with a 128gb, but only just. I have two 2tb USB 3 external drives and a 1tb internal for storage.
I also removed my swap file, my hibernate file and all system restores were moved to external drives to optimise the SSD storage.
Awesome deal, roll on further price drops! Almost tempted to upgrade my 160GB Intel G2

Indeed, because that's all people with lives use computers for, games.....

How do you move hibernate file to other drive? I have to disable hibernate to save 16GB space.

To turn off or disable hibernation, type the following command at the prompt (make sure you run CMD as admin):
powercfg –h off
This will disable hibernation and will remove the hiberfil.sys file from your system.
Turning it off in control panel won't delete the file.

The larger the SDD you buy the longer you'll be using it. I wonder how many people bought 32GB SSD back in the day and then got tired of carrying around external drives and replaced them before long. Also I spend a lot of my time on a train, and although it might not have been necessary getting rid of mechanical drives was a major factor in my purchase. On a side note, it might not be recognised by others but my time is infinitely valuable to me.

I have done that. But you said you moved it to other drive instead of deleting it.

He didn't really. The clue is the use of punctuation. He removed the swap file and the hibernation file. The comma seperates the 2 items in the list and then the sentence continues to say that he moved system restore files to a different disk.

O, I see. The comma here indicated this. If it was a full stop, it was the meaning I got, right? Learn some grammar here. Good for me. :)

Yea, that's correct. Glad I could help :).
