I would say order quick before they get their price up, like what happened with the 750gb version on friday.

How do they compare with Samsung Evo drives?

Good idea, `normal` usb3 adapters to SATA don`t work properly at usb3 speeds and sometimes not even at usb2 speeds

I've almost ordered it from Spain for 87. Now I'm glad that I left it and it will be quicker/easier with warranty.

very hot but I dont need one at all? yet I still want this one .. hmm

I want one but do I also really need one? Surely a Samsung SSD will come up in the near future, this Vaio running on a 5400rpm HDD can be a bit slow at times though but my PC is blazing fast. Decisions.....

raid 0 this boys, outperformed other SSDs! with amazingly 1TB

I'm on the fence tbh, I ordered then cancelled. My PC does the hard work which uses Samsung ssd. Also don't know if there's any reason to upgrade on parts for a 2014 laptop.

Thanks OP ... ordered and heat added

Keep us updated mate. I've ordered 2 of these to replace the 2 drives currently in my ASUS ROG G751. It currently has a 128gb SSD and a 1tb HDD. I believe the 2 games I have and the operating system are both on the ssd and the 1tb HDD only had a few gb of data on it at the moment. Just want to drag and drop everything onto the replacements but have no idea how to.

Cloning drives is actually very simply. Connect the new one to your PC and simply clone the older one, then replace it and change boot drive :)

Really good price but as all my ssd purchases need to maintain my overall capacity, I will only be buying 1tb or greater drives.

I will check out a few YouTube videos and follow the step by step guides. I'm assuming I'll need that ssd adapter mentioned above?

Many Thanks

agreed! this is a decent deal, but I had hoped to see 480GB-ish drives for 60-70. this'll do nicely though :D

Bought one, although I kinda hoped that a smaller sized SSD was on offer too since I think 525GB is a bit excessive for me

I have the same dilemma..

I also ordered one from Amazon es the other day and it will probably be delivered tomorrow. How easy would it be to return this though, surely we have to pay for the postage for the return which wont be cheap?
