Cokezone now allow you to trade in 250 points to download any released game on EAStore - this equates to £12.50 if you were redeeming for say HMV vouchers and seems like a pretty good way to get DA2 cheap

CokeZone link:

http://www.cokezone.co.uk/home/catalogue/reward/eprdtmar17/Games/EA-sy+game+downloads

[UPDATE] TehJumpingJawa has spotted that you can get multiple games using a single code!!!

[UPDATE - 06/04/2011] Glitch no longer working but 250 points still gets you a free game

Yeah released games only - however, it is release day for DA2 today and it worked for that - plus the offer runs for a year - get your code and then use it on release day

Going to do this when i get home from work at 6pm so hope EA dont pull it.

Was unsure about getting it on PC or xbox as got the 1st one on PC but now this is more Xbox friendly but with it being 250coke points i will get it on PC.

Thanks again

Edit: Well ive spent the 250coke points and have my code ready to start the download later.

How big is the download? Also just incase you dont know they have relased a high Res texture pack for the PC version for download.

As an aside the site did behave a little bit weirdly - I added DA2 and went to checkout and added the code - no reduction - so I closed the page and went back to the main store page and voila! - all valid games show a price of £0.00

I wonder how long the codes last for if i was to get another one now and save it for use for either Crysis 2 or ME3?

how many points do you usually earn from say a bottle of 2l coke?
#13
i think you earn 4 point per 2l so.....that would be 63 bottle of coca cola which is probably over what dragon age 2 cost. Isn't worth the effort to drink that many bottle just to buy a game.

330ml can, 1 point (though promo cans are not manufactured atm)
500ml, 2 points.
2l, 3 points

This is a red hot deal.
#15
Got home and downloading the games now
#16
How much is 250 points in retail sales? Just curious..

This isn't any game free, its EVERY game free.

I have a basket with 60 digital download games in it; total cost £0.00
#18
Buy enough coke start playing fantasy games followed shortly by chasing dragons, nothing new there then !
#19
Well, 2l bottles of Coke are on 2 for £3 at the moment. There's 3 tokens per bottle. You'd need 84 bottles to get the tokens, £126 in Coca-Cola sales.

Seems like a good deal if you've got the coke points, but I can see how they can afford to do it :p
#20
Well, I just earned myself 9 points registering and filling out my details
241 more

Fortunately I already had 830 =]

Never bought a bottle or can of coke in my life though; all collected from litter picking. Shame more people don't do the same.

link worked OK for me a minute ago - wish I had more points!!! (and wish I had added more than one item with my code...)
#27
Lombear and Fatcat - I sent you both messages. Please reply
#28
was this just for xbox 360 games or all platforms. Good some people got it
#29
Only for PC and in theory should still be working...
#30
I just got the code via cokezone, now just need to find out when it expires
#31
Code expires in March 2012 - I imagine if there is an error they will sort it so u only get one game - still a good deal tho - but gratz if u got more than one
#32
Anyone used more than 1 code on multiple games? Was hoping for JAWA for a response but hey ho.

The eastore has come to a screeching halt so I think they're in the process of patching this.

As it provides you with product keys I suspect once you've checked out you are home and dry.

I managed to get 49 games for free; any more than that and my basket cookie was so large that it caused the eastore server to timeout! (adding games to the basket got progressively slower as the cookie grew)

Still, can't complain - £1000 worth of games for free =)

Did you add all the games at the same time? or did you add one game then the code then another then the code?

LOL thanks for the reply. which browser did you use?

Oh wow. I spotted the feature on Coke Zone the other day, but didn't buy it as I didn't know what games it would work for, or if there was a maximum value it would work on.

Congrats on anyone that managed to get multiple games in this, but no doubt that part of the offer will be closed off very soon. Just hope it doesn't mean they pull the whole deal.
