Just checked - and nope, FNC isn't £24.99 instore. It's £40.99 in GAME and £34.99 in GameStation.

I order it online and then go buy it instore at gamestation and keep the reciept for the 10 days money back guarantee. That way you can do the deal and also pay the lowest price. Hope this helps

Thats a great idea...am so tempted to call my wife and get this deal from HMV but i am so overloaded with games, i wanna hang back. And looking like the platinum is long enough...i think i should wait a bit. Still tempted tho...decisions decisions.

Thanks for the tip. I suppose you can do the same with HMV? Buy FNC from HMV, trade it in and come back later with the copy from GAME.

*nvm, think HMV has a different returns policy

Does the game have to be still sealed to return ?

Store purchases can only be returned to Gamestation stores.

This policy does not affect your statutory rights.
Proof of purchase is required for all returns.
Products may be returned to any Gamestation store, regardless of which store the original purchase was made in.
Any refund issued will be made via the original method of payment.
Unwanted Product Returns

Gamestation will exchange unwanted items within 10 days of purchase.
Restrictions may apply to DVDs, UMDs and some games with online capabilities.
Any unwanted returns must be in 'as purchased' condition and in the original packaging.
Any unwanted (new) return that does not meet the above criteria may be returned at the Manager's discretion for the full pre-owned selling price.
Gamestation reserves the right to refuse any unwanted return at the Manager's discretion.
If there is nothing you wish to exchange the item for at the time of return, a store credit note to the value paid for the item can be issued.

Tesco refund sealed items... they deserve a stinging after last week when they wouldnt accept Dead Space 2 Ltd Edition in the Homefront deal!

Yes, the game does have to be sealed to be returned.

And their policy doesn't affect this "workaround." If I bought a game online, I couldn't take it into the store with an online receipt. However by buying it online AND instore, that's the workaround.

It only has to be sealed if u want a full refund i took killzone 3 back because i didnt like it but i had opened it
they wouldnt give me refund but they let me exchange it for another game the same price so i got bulletstorm

great, goodbye dragon age 2 :)

Be warned, some HMV stores are very picky with their returns. They don't come sealed, they come in some sort of lame plastic wallet, which they expect it to be in if you return it, I had a massive issue returning because it didn't have the plastic wallet!

Will I be able to trade-in the signature edition of DA2? The codes have also been used, would that be a problem?
#19
Can be any edition of DA I would think- have traded in exclusive versions of other games before such as Bulletstorm and they take it back as a normal version.
