Is this site genuine ?

I've just searched all the other threads for Games4U and can't find one that confirms that anyone actually had anything delivered...??

plus one bloke says when u register it asks for ur mobile number ....more than likely to sell you a knew mobile .....

From my other thread.

"I would think so or else I'm in trouble. It's run by Phones 4U and when I registerd it didn't ask for anything. I just ticked the box saying I'm a Phones 4U customer."

Registered VAT number, address and landline phone number provided.
Normally signs of a genuine site.

If in doubt of a site always go looking for their contact info, it's always a giveaway of a dodgy site when the only contact info is en email address and/or mobile phone number.

They also have Far Cry for £3.56 including delivery (after the discount).

Smoking hot deal, great fun game you need a decent pc though to play it in all its glory

The site's genuine but don't expect their stock listing to be correct, I ordered a game from them about 2 months ago, got an email saying it was out of stock and they'll post it when they get more stock... a week later I got the same email, and the next week, and the week after that. On the 5th week they said they can't source any more stock cancelled the order and refunded me. The whole 5 weeks however, it was still listed as "in stock" on the site.

Still, if they manage to send it to you, and you have a PC good enough to play it on high settings (because IMO the graphics are the only good part about the game, the story/gameplay is average), hot deal! :p

Off track I know, But there seems to be a lot of this going on at the moment,Simply Games pulled the same stunt with my GOW for XBox360, Ordered 2/3/09 and cancelled the the other day because they can't obtain the item any more,Money refunded, but I bet they didn't refund the interest as well.

I thought those sites looked similar... By the way, who is the company named? Games 4U or Phones 4U?
#11
Well it is Phones 4 U but just a different name as it would cause a bit of confusion when looking for games lol

Quoted for much Truth. I have the sequel and now I have a Nvidia 260 it became MUCH more playable. Its good for action and immersion. You just have to switch your brain off and forget you ever played any of the Half-Life series :D .

This is a good deal. I haven't seen the original at anything close to this price. So I'm tempted :) .
