...and that's the reason you don't see so many new PC games these days.

Wow, talk about how to sound like a pirating douchebag... :P

good price for what is a top game. If you can run it!

It's the recession guys, every penny helps. =P

You can play this on low graphics but to run this on very high, your PC will need to be......VERY, VERY high spec.

Crysis 2 is coming out on the PS3 and 360, so that should be good. In the meantime, i already have Crysis but it's a good price, it's not the best game, but it's good for the money.

i've never heard of the company, are they safe?
VERY tempted

Voted hot but keep in mind that the 'complete' edition was recently released and will no doubt be available for £15 or so in a month or two (its been selling pretty badly according to my mate who works at Game). At least thats what I'm counting on. Voted hot for those who want it now!

Well...I suppose you could say that. But then again so could the guy who breaks into your car/house and nicks your nice new GPS/PC (with your ripped off games). Perhaps this isn't the site 4 U? Try crowbars R US.:-D

It' not that bad.
I can play everything on high+2xAA @1440x900 with [email protected] + 9800gtx + 2.5gb ram .
I could play on 'medium' at the same resolution, with high textures and only shadows reduced to 'low' with 7900gs XXX + the same cpu.
ATI [email protected] will be fine with Crysis unless you want to max everything on 24'' quality monitor - is it currently high spec ? I do no think so .Hot from me

Voted hot - bought this game as a bargain a few months.. however then spent a fortune upgrading my machine to run it. Still a great game to watch , although the graphics do wear thin after a while.
Havent got that far with it yet ( or have I , dont really know how many levels there are):p
#14
maximum game lol

well worth £9.95.
#15
i recently upgraded my pc, got a pretty decent spec machine now and i managed to run this with 4xAA, everything set to very high and res @ 1280x960........................right up until the very, very end of it where the graphical complexity seems to rocket through the roof, had to turn everythin to medium/high for about the last half hours worth of gameplay, purely because it just destroyed my rig beforehand lol

(c2d e7400 clocked at around 3ghz atm, 4gb 1066mhz ram, radeon 4870 512mb - so not exactly a barebones budget system lol)

In which case, live without it. Stealing someone else's work no matter the reason is wrong, there's really nothing to be proud about shouting it out.

P.s. Voted hot. Intending to purchase this to stress out my system, but as a previous poster said I may as well wait for the maximum edition!

Worry not slim Google has the answers:

although a few negative reviews say secondhand games which could explain the price.....

Monster PC considerations aside because you wouldnt by a game like Crysis if you had onboard intel graphics. This seems like a decent deal but Im sure I saw it in HMV very recently for £7.99.

I havent played Crysis for quite a while now but I remember it was VERY buggy at certain points in the game. Its decent but can become quite frustrating if you try to play it as a 'traditional shooter' because it cant be played that way, you simply must use the suits abilities or you wont finish the game and some of them feel like a cheat.

Crysis:Warhead is a far, far superior game IMO its far less bloated than Crysis and runs better on lower spec machines has a better single player game, a better and more intuitive HUD, a better main character and multiplayer options and runs without a CD straight off the HDD.

If you can get that cheap do it.

I buy game collection stuff on occasion, usually DS stuff and they're always quick to ship... can't say I've ever had a problem with them.

yep. gears of war 2 didn't come to the pc because of piracy ... we're missing out on good titles and its only going to get worse
#24
So there is no piracy on the xbox 360?

More like it was the awful sales of GOW 1 on the PC and how many people signed up for Gold Windows Live?

My GOW on the pc is fine now but it was buggy as hell on release.

Learn how to do a decent PC conversion and ditch windows live

It's worth checking instore at HMV, my local store was selling Crysis for a tenner.
