Good price, I got it from HMV with a student discount though.:-D

Voting cold because of the malware that EA have included with it, and the fact that its a glorified rental and has zero resell value.
#3
Since when was it ever a rental - this is the buy new price for their shop.

Yes, but with the Securom and the rootkit and the digital rights management, EA are essentially trying to force consumers into a rental model for their games rather than purchase.

And lots of people ain't happy about it. The customer reviews for Crysis and Spore on Amazon.com make for interesting reading.

I have read those reviews and I can't stand them. It's the game quality that matters. Yes, the whole thing is a bummer, but a great game is still a great game at the end of the day. As for this deal, it's a good deal and I have added heat.

Personally I think it reflects the relative value of the product, that it might damage your PC, which means I think this particular game would be overpriced at 1p.

Anyways, whenever I vote something cold I like to say why, which is why I said why. And I think its useful information for consumers to know when they might buy something, that there is this question mark, and they should go research it before making their decision to purchase or not.

While I disagree with your opinion on the price and the game, I commend you for posting why you voted cold. So many people vote cold on several things and never leave a reason, it is nice to see somebody being helpful.
