Wonder why they market these things with xxGB ROM? Surely ROM is read-only-memory that is therefore unusable to the consumer?

I'd market it as xxGB RAM and be done with it.

Looks okay, I'd be cautious about the build quality and the retailer, worth a punt

But RAM is volatile, so that's just as inaccurate :p

Well hot. Been looking at picking up a cheap Chinese tablet for a while, this is one of the best ones out there.

Tech Tablets is my go to site for such machines, and he rates the Cube amongst the best of the unknown brands outside China.

I prefer eMMC or something like that. I think savvy people here know it's not ROM or RAM as such. Wonder if it's a translation issue?

Even Samsung do this. It's just like advertising a UHD TV as 4K. Even worse, a 4K UHD TV when it's just UHD. You just have to do a long sigh and move on :)

2MP camera? Why bother, save the R&D cost and make it a tenner cheaper.

worst customer experience ever encountered.

What's wrong with a 2MP webcam? This isn't a phone. 1600x1200 is perfectly adequate.

CUBE build quality is actually not bad. As long as it has 64gb storage it's good. My cube has 32gb dual boot and not enough space for the bloody anniversary update. Bugs the living heck out of me.

They are heavy too, but excellent quality, just having issues getting the stylus.

the Cube I had overheated, crashed and outside warranty completely died. Never touching these again.

I've got this, had for about 8 months now, all is good. Windows and android updated OTA. no issues. Keyboard mouse is quite sensitive.

The 8300 CPU is a bit weak, I wouldn't call this a flagship at all!

What version of Android is it running after the updates?

Still on version 5.1, mine was one of the early ones that did not have play store. Cube iWork worked on an OTA update to fix this. All is well and don't have any issues
