So I was looking for a UK stock (before xmas) Xiaomi Mi Band as close to import prices as possible and drawing blanks.

However stumbled across this option on the Cubot V2.

Currently marked as 20.99, uk stock with prime next day. Even better was a promotion that reduced it by a further 2 pounds per ordered item.

Anybody who wants an inexpensive fitness band with (supposedly) accurate hrm, this is the one.

Edit 20/12: seems that base price has now gone up to 24.99 making it 22.99 after discount.

Ooh, could be tempted by this but there are no reviews as yet.

Take a look online, seems a viable alternative to the Mi Band 2, with the only downside being the plastic screen

I got one of these elsewhere for the hear rate monitor. Seem pretty accurate but you have to wear it quite tight to get an accurate reading

Yep that seems to be the case for most of them. And with that I suppose the quality of the strap has to also come into play.

wouldnt worry about the strap, my wife has a Fitbit Charge and the strap on it has come unstuck 3 or 4 times (I've had to superglue it) - it's not a replaceable strap like the other Fitbits....

I've had mine for about 2 weeks, seems pretty good so far. Strap is comfortable, I can't compare it to anything else as though as this is my first experience with something like this. Battery lasts around 4-5 days. Does seem a bit basic and people are saying it doesn't work with Google Fit but I bought it for approx £12.50 on Gearbest. For that price I'm more than happy with it.

can your phone leverage the HR data in real-time using a suitable app ( eg endomondo)?
cheers

Sorry, no idea if it works with endomondo. Not sure if it works with 3rd party apps, I've not tried to be honest.

thanks for the resp. but wondering if the userguide indicates if it can broadcast the HR over bluetooth at all?
thanks

Well it can send data via bluetooth to the Cubot App on my android phone so it must be able to. You can also set to constantly monitor HR, just no idea if 3rd party apps can make use of the data.
