Good deal (voted hot),

However, I'd get these though if I was you, they are double the price (reduced from £70 odd) but quality is 10 times better. Come with 25 year warranty. Got a set myself and they are miles better than anything for the same price

I have a set of these at home - unfortunately they are very blunt and don't look very clean steel.

I did spend at least twice as much on my set though.

New EEC regulations im afraid, just like them lowering the volume on mp3 players and now they are limiting the thickness of toilet roll.

Just as a point of interest-- having you ever tried to use Sabatier warranty. I gave up after a few months and many snail mail letters. Sabatier is ,apparently an umberella for many different manufacturers.
Having said al that I found them to be very good knifes for the price but mine all broke long before the 10 year warranty!

ok I have some cheapo knives similar to these (they were £15 at Morrisons) and tbh honest I will not buy cheap knives again. It isn't just the blunt blade (which I am having a great deal of difficulty sharpening with both a steal AND stone) but they also feel awful. Thankfully I kept my old wooden handled knives (which were also cheap) and they sharpen very well and feel great.

I haven't voted cold but I think people should consider before buying these.

I totally agree with 'theClaw'. We have this set of Sabatier knives at home and they have been great for about 6 years now. I would recommend them.

Voted hot for the OP, but I would definitely advise the ones linked by 'theClaw'

That's a good buy but I bought some like these a couple of years ago (Swan I think) and have not been too pleased with them.
I find the handles very hard to grip, they are very heavy and went blunt very quickly.
My 20 year old set are still better.

I'd collect it but now im afraid of that the police would detect it and arrest me for carying not just one but a set of knifes!

Well, back to deal... Nice deal for the price who isnt bothered replacing their set every 12 months... I wouldnt prefer it although heat given...
