aren't those little 'hostess trolleys' very 1980s? from the days when people got excited about having people over to dinner so they could eat 'fondue' and vienetta

If you look ( and not even carefully ) you'll see it's anything but a hostess trolley....so either you don't really know what you're talking about, or you're making a pretty pathetic attempt at being condescending and superior, in which case you've failed absolutely dismally on all scores.:p:p

You may well look like the upper class plastic snob played by Penelope Keith ( which is very bad at the best of time, but more so if you happen to be a male ! ) , but regrettably you have absolutely none of the humour of the character............;-)

wow, that must've taken a while... I was asking a question - I honestly don't know the difference between this and a hostess trolley and am happy to admit that I don't know what I'm talking about.

unfortunately your laboured reply referencing Penelope Keith (I had to google that - wow, you're old!) shows confusion and failure to realise that the middle class snob you describe is the one I was also describing (fondue etc.) - it's easy to get mixed up though, isn't it, trying to juggle 2 thoughts at the same time?

I genuinely struggle to see the point of something like this though?

Nope...it's dead easy for me juggling 2 thoughts and more at once....obviously not the case for you though as you've just admitted.:whistling::thumbsup:

My reply took about 30 seconds....perhaps you're the one struggling and your words are laboured...certainly not mine :-D..??...and since Penelope Keith is still very much alive and kicking...and her various comedy series are being re-run all the time on TV, you don't have to be any particular age to know who she is....but HEY!! Good to know you're able to use google........even if you do have to use it to find out who one of the better, and very well known female comedy actors in the country is.......

If like me,you have a reasonable size kitchen with not much storage space, they create extra room for you.I bought a large one last year,to me it's invaluable as it gives me more working surfaces and storage space....

Why would you want to store wine underneath a preparation surface like that?

there great for bumping into the brats running about the kitchen while your moving it about, keeps the social workers at bay from hand marks......
