One for all you gadget lovers or those who struggle opening cans, or if you just cant be bothered to break your wrists like me.

Automatically opens cans with one touch
Press button once and the One Touch does all the hard work
One Touch is the easiest way to open cans hands free
Clean, fast, and effortless can opening
Magnet for safe, no-mess lid disposal
Ideal for those with limited hand mobility
Easy to clean and store
Ergonomic design
Opens most round cans
2 x quality AA batteries included

Bit expensive maybe as can openers go, but if you struggle to open cans for one reason or another, might be worth a punt if you can either make your order upto £15 for free delivery or can take up Amazons offer of a month of free delivery if you sign up to the Amazon Prime service (then cancel before months end ofcourse).

Good fathers day present too!

Those of you who have the £2 vouchers courtesy of HotUKdeals can save a couple of quid on that price too.

See http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=4AQRJZ6oEqo or Amazons website for a video of it in action.

These are brilliant. Just got one myself cos cant use a normal tin opener at the moment because of a hand operation. Going to order another one now for Dad for fathers day. Cheapest ive seen -good find-thanks.

Got one, and it's cool.

Things to note:
Doesn't work well with square tins (sardines, corned beef etc)
If the batteries fail while half through opening a tin, its difficult to remove. You need a screwdriver.

Great deal.

nice find, must get one for my mum...she's 87!...hot find

Read the amazon reviews guys and girls! The battery dies without warning mid-tin and requires a screw driver to remove it. It looks like people get sick of this thing very quickly

Best tin opener I've ever had although the batteries do run out rather quickly. Still a good buy though - especially at this price. Cheapest I've ever seen. H & R added.

I filled up with fuel at a Texaco garage last night and they had this (or one very similar) for £4.99 if you purchased fuel at the same time.

I fancy a Maplins one for my dad for father's day. He is weak on his right side due to a stroke and I think this would be ideal. Does anyone have one, is it any good?

Maplins one, as already mentioned, isnt the same branded one. Cant get the reviews for it or video demos so might not be as good a build quality etc. You also dont get free delivery unless spending £35 (amazon is £15 which is easier to achieve or sign up to Amazon Prime for free delivery) so add £3 to that making it £8 and only 50p cheaper.

You cant use your £2 voucher from HUKD either, which would bring it down to £6.50

Does that make the deal any warmer? :)

My mum got me this one just after xmas. Batteries still going! Works really well. Good if you're lazy like me or have problems with your hands. Mum paid £14.99 for it so this is good deal.

It's still not in stock from amazon.co.uk directly, but just a quick heads-up that this has now been reduced further to £8.24.

Top Tip: This might tempt a few more people to buy, or make sure you remember to use Amazon's price promise to get the difference back if you have already ordered it in the last 30 days.
