Until chrome book has touch screen and supports Android play store, useless to buy.

I have this Chromebook, as well as two other more expensive ones and seem to always use this more. As stated, it's due the update very shortly to enable android apps. As for touch screen, personal preference, but I have no use for it. Don't use it on my other. Great price.

Do you just copy & paste this on every Chromebook thread? (Been reading most of them this afternoon).

Have to say, disagree - these are not giant phones or tablets and serve a different purpose. Touch screen would probably add to much to the cost to make it viable as a budget browser/laptop.

have touch screen on my Transformer and the only time I use it is on Zinio - otherwise it tends to get in the way more than be used.

Have you ever used an Android phone? All the apps are touch based. How can you use touch based apps without a touch screen. Probably Google apps might work but not most of other apps available on play store. All the cheap windows laptops have touch screens so it is not a big issue.
