Not a good deal at all. The spec on this is terrible.

I can assure anyone here looking for a good laptop to check out the lenovos on the saveonlaptops site. I am looking for a new laptop within the next 2 months and that is my benchmark to beat at the moment. I havent seen any deals on this site that are better than those. If you dont mind a emachines brand (which i wouldnt recommend) then sainsburys are doing a decent spec for £299 which is £50 cheaper than the lenovo one of the same spec.

My advice is to get a laptop with proper individual touchpad buttons. The user review on Amazon backs this up. It's a shame when a decent price v spec is let down by very poor ergonomics.

I don't know if the Advent buttons are useable, it's not easy to see from the pic.
