Product information

The Mio MiVue 618 Super HD Dash Cam acts as your personal eyewitness on the road, with Super HD video recording and a G-Sensor that records moments of impact. Safety camera warnings and speed alarms offer extra peace of mind on the road.

High quality Full HD recording to capture every detail

The front camera of the MiVue 618 records video in high quality Super HD 2304 x 1296p at 30 frames per second. This makes it easier for making out small details such as car number plates that would otherwise be more difficult to make out in low quality footage.

The camera records in Extreme HD.  The device uses the latest H.264 file storage technology for storing high quality videos at a smaller file size; the benefit is you'll be able to store more of your footage at the best possible quality so you spend less time deleting files to make space on your memory card.

The mount is easily rotated to any angle for better video evidence collection.

Record moments of accident impact with G-Sensor technology

With the MiVue 618 you'll always have peace of mind when driving thanks to the G-Sensor. When the sensor detects sudden motion, the MiVue will save and lock the footage at the time of event to prevent it from being accidentally deleted or overwritten.

A three-axis sensor records the G-forces, showing the direction and force of impact to help aid your case in any possible insurance claims.

Photo mode for capturing evidence

The MiVue 618 also takes still photos. Take the camera outside of the car and use it to take close-up photos of accidental bumps. The photos include your GPS coordinates so you always have an exact record of where the incident took place.

Safety Camera, Lane Departure and Speed Warnings for peace of mind

Your MiVue 618 features free safety camera data, with monthly updates available for the lifetime of your device. It's a handy feature that ensures you'll always know when and where to drive extra carefully.

A Speed Alarm feature will also emit an alert if you go over the speed limit.

With Auto power on MiVue starts when you do

Once set up, your MiVue 618 starts recording when you turn the key to start your car. And if your vehicle has a constant power supply you can choose to have the device always on recording.

Memory card compatibility for safe keeping your footage

Should you wish to save your footage the Mio MiVue 618 Dash Cam is memory card compatible with Micro SDXC cards of up to 128 GB.

Due to the amount of liars and idiots on the roads I wouldn't get in a vehicle without a dash cam!

Their idea of a lifetime is not yours. If they decide it's lifetime is at an end, then it will be so whether it is still working perfectly or not. I got taken in by their 'lifetime' map updates.
