Just ordered online, been looking for a while, opted for this portable one because it has usb charge instead of batteries and a clock, alarm with 3.5pm earphone socket
The DAB radio uses a digital signal to pick up stations - this means the quality is immensely improved and your choice greatly expanded. Stations sound crisp, clean and clear for maximum radio enjoyment. 10 DAB and 10 FM radio presets allow you to have quick and easy access to your most-listened-to stations.

Alarm

An alarm with sleep and snooze functionality means you can wake up to the morning radio show or standard alarm buzzing.

LCD

A clear LCD display makes it easy to operate this radio and gives you a clear indication of what station you are listening to.

Are you sure that this is USB chargeable. Although the Currys site says USB charging cable included, I can see nowhere that a USB cable (mini or micro) could be plugged in. The only power input socket I can see is presumably for the mains adaptor, and there is no mention in the spec that the radio can actually be USB powered, specifying only mains power. No mention of any internal batteries.

I am assuming that that the usb charging cable is the mains connector and the recharge of the radio as it does state that it is a portable dab radio.

Lol.

looks the size of a small speaker.

loving the clever design!

The product summary and product details both indicate this is mains powered. Suspect "portable" means "small enough to carry around" rather than "battery powered".

Certainly small enough to carry round if the dimensions given earlier are correct as they work out in the old money to be 0.9" x 1.8" x 2.8"

These are the instructions for the Sandstrom S6VDAB12 which Currys are also selling for £49. In all important respects, this is identical to the Logik and nowhere in the instructions is USB or Battery mentioned. I only mention this because my personal experience with Currys is that they don't like goods to be returned.
