Curtain pole for 10p !! - IKEA Warrington

Hello,

in IKEA Warrington on Sunday and spotted black curtain poles for 10p! Haven't took a picture or got codes etc but there was loads of stock left - they were about 5 foot long, not sure if extendable or not.

Useful for poking the dog/kids/missus from the couch if nothing else!

Washing-line pole

I saw these too. They seemed to be metal and pretty heavy and was thinking along the same lines as joeymcjoe for alternative uses as I don't need a black curtain pole!

Ha ha like it - the washing line pole is probably feasible at this price. When it's rusty turn it into a javelin into the neighbour's garden!

Another use:
Buy 1000 of them, superglue them together and sell them to Manchester City Council for millions of pounds... oh wait, someone had that idea already:

Like it - this is a prime example of how not to spend half a million quid of tax payers money - this has now had a "haircut" and is much smaller due to H & S issues - I think it would still kill someone if it fell over though.....

Is that what happens when somewhere like Manchester tries to make out it understands art and culture?
